Can you come over? I need to talk to you and get your opinion on something.

I'll be right there.

I realize I need to get out of bed because johnson's coming over, so I get up and throw on the first clothes I find, brush my hair and my teeth then just seconds after I'm finished getting ready, Johnson barges into my house and runs upstairs to my bedroom.

"What's wrong bro?" He asks me.

"Ok." I take a deep breath, "I think I want to propose."

"Oh um... I'm flattered but I have a girlfriend." He jokes.

"Dude seriously! You know I mean Camryn." I roll my eyes.

"Really? Are you sure?" He asks me.

"I think so?" I say.

"That sounded like a question. This is serious Jack you need to know you're answer for sure. Do you want to marry Camryn?" He asks again.

"Yes. I want to marry Camryn." I grin.

"Great. Let's go get the ring then!" He says eagerly.

"Let's do it." I reply enthusiastically.

We both go out to my car and start driving to the mall.

"So how much are you willing to spend?" J asks.

"Honestly I have no budget. I'll spend any amount of money for Camryn." I smile.

"You guys are the cutest couple."

"Thanks man. I know." I laugh.

We pull up to the mall and walk up to the store "charm diamond centre."

"Hello how may I help you?" A perky old lady asks as we walk into the store.

"I'm looking for an engagement ring, I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend." I say, grinning at the thought of it.

"That's great! What's your budget?"

"Whatever." I shrug.

"Alrighty." She laughs and leads us over to the counter with Lot's of engagement rings on display.

"Any of these catching your eye?" She asks.

"Oh! That one!" I say excitedly pointing to a white and rose gold diamond ring. (The picture at the beginning)

"2,199$ sir. Are you sure about that?"

"Yes." I nod.

"Cash or credit?" She asks as she pulls the ring out of the display.

"Credit." I tell her and hand her my credit card.

She scans it then hands it back to me along with the ring in the Box.

I open the box and admire the ring.

"She's gonna love it man." Johnson says.

"I know." I smile.

As I'm about to close the box, I hear a camera go off somewhere near me. I look around, but see nothing, so I just put it off as someone taking a selfie or something.

"Let's go home." J suggests.

"Thank you!" I call to the lady.

"You're very welcome! Good luck with the proposal!" She yells back.

We walk out of the store then drive home. First I stop at Johnson's house.

"Bye J! Thanks for the help!" I yell to him as he walks into his house.

"Anytime man! See ya." He yells back.

I pull out of the driveway then head back to my house.

Once I get there and head inside, I start to think of what I'm gonna say when I ask her. I don't want to just flat out ask her to marry me, I want a little speech leading up to it. But not to long. But not to short either. Okay maybe I'm over thinking thi-

*ding*

I'm shaken out of my thoughts when my phone goes off.

I get up and walk out to my car once again. I drive 2 minutes to the park and see Cam sitting on the swing looking at her phone.

I sneak up behind her and put my hands over eyes.

"Guess who." I say in a really deep voice.

"Connor Franta?" She laughs.

"No you idiot." I say jokingly.

"If you aren't Connor Franta then leave." She says with sass.

"fine then." I pout and start walking away.

"Kidding kidding... Come swing with me!" She says excitedly.

I laugh and sit down on the swing. She continues looking through her phone scrolling through something which I'm assuming is Twitter, when the smile on her face turns to a confused look.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Uhh, Jack? This picture..." She says and shows me her phone.
