Is it true Mom?

Karen's PoV
I was waiting near the front door for Emmylou to get home. I feel so freaking bad for forgetting my angel. Since Jimi was dropping her off the least I could do was sign a photo for his daughter. I think Emmylou mentioned her name was Tammy. I saw a car pull up and both Emmylou and "oh gosh" Kim get out. They walked up the drive and rang the bell.

"I'm so sorry princess, please forgive me."

I said opening the door and flinging my arms round Emmylou.

"Mom, I'm over it already. Oh by the way Aunty Kim wants to know if you wanna meet for a coffee and have a catch up. Don't worry I'll be there too. There isn't a chance on this earth I'm letting my two fav girls have a coffee date without me."

"Yeah why not, what harm could it do. Oh by the way heres the signed pic I promised for Tammy."

I said handing it to Kim.

"Thanks, she's gonna love it."

Emmylou's PoV
Holy cow these two don't half have history. Just look at the way they are looking at each other. It's really quite adorable. They really do have so much chemistry. I'd do anything to be able to read their minds.

Kimberly's PoV
(Oh Gussie she looks so damn beautiful. I could stare into those giant dark brown eyes all day.)

"If you wanna pick the time and place for coffee Karen and send a message with Emmylou. When & where ever best for you."

"Ok will do, thanks."

Karen's PoV
(Seriously Fairchild control yourself. The last time you were "friends" with the blonde infront of you it ended in tears. Don't go and do anything you're gonna regret. She looks so amazing though. That smile always made you melt.)

"Don't suppose you wanna come in and listen to my new single before I realise it. I've got a feeling you'll be able to relate to the lyrics in the chorus."

"I'd love to. I'll just tell you know who. Back in a minute."

Kimberly turned round and started to make her way back to the car.

(OML her butt in that skirt) I thought with a cheeky smile to myself.

"Ok"

"Mom can you ask you something before Aunty Kim comes back.?"

"Yeah of course darling!"

"Is it true that you used to be more than just friends?"

"Who told you that?"

"She did"

"Well I suppose I can't deny it then can I?"

"Are you mad that she told me?"

"No"

"Which song are you gonna let her listen to?"

"The duet I've done with Uncle Tim."

"What 'your side of the bed'?"

"Yeah."

"I love that one."

"I'm back."

"Come on in Kim. Oh hey Jimi."

"Y'all don't mind if I have a listen to this future CMA winner as well do ya?"

"No that's fine."

"Well this is gonna be slightly awkward."

I whispered to Emmylou. She giggled and nodded.

"So which one of them two are you singing to then."

Emmy whispered back during the song. Slyly acknowledging Kim and Jimi as she did. I just gave her the death look and she giggled. I was trying so damn hard not to laugh myself.

"You sound incredible Karen!!"

"Thanks Kim that means a lot."

"Kim's right you seriously killed that. It was awesome."

"Thanks."

Jimi's PoV
What is going on in my wife's head. I know she has a girl crush on Karen but seriously she can't take her eyes off her. As wrong as it sounds it's major turning me on.

Kimberly's PoV
Oh Gussie I think Jimi's noticed that I spent the whole of the time we were listening to Karen's new single starring at her. Oh well I'll just say that I was transfixed by the melody. There that'll do. Let's just hope he falls for it. Oh heavens I seriously don't know what I'd do if he ever found out about me and Karen. I wonder how Emmylou truly feels about it? That poor thing has been through so much since September. If it had been me I think I'd of gone mad by now.

Saturday evening
Emmylou's PoV
The "coffee date" of the century went smoothly as it could. The three of us had such a laugh. To be honest I've never seen mom look so happy in forever. It was probably my imagination but I'm convinced that they were flirting with each other at one point. Oh well doesn't bother me. They have history for heavens sake.

Karen's PoV
I swear I haven't laughed as much as I did earlier today in the longest time. I'd actually forgotten how funny and (I hate admitting this bit) sweet Kim Westbrook really is. I seriously had the best afternoon. She kept on giving me cheeky, flirty smiles when Emmy wasn't looking and as much as I didn't want to I was finding myself falling for her a small amount again.

Kimberly's PoV
Coffee with Karen and Emmylou this afternoon was seriously the most fun I'd had in forever. Karen looked so freaking incredible as well. We had such a laugh. It truly was so awesome finally getting the chance to catch up with her. I did find myself flirting with Karen for most of the afternoon and before anyone criticises me I don't care. She's an extremely good looking women who I've had a girl crush on since I was 15 and I'm nearly 30. And before anyone asks yes I do still have feelings for her.
