Grace's POV

That night, I couldn't sleep.

GO. TO. SLEEP. I commanded myself. After approximately 32 minutes more of trying to force myself to shut down, I got up. I need chocolate.

This was a bad idea but who cares.

I silently crept past the other girls rooms, down the stairs, through the hall, and into the pantry. Well , I wouldn't call something the size of a supermarket a pantry. It was huge. I searched and searched the endless room for a whole 61 seconds. When I thought I was doomed for good, I found what I was looking for. Chocolate chips.

I imagined angels singing in the background.

I snatched the bag, tore it open , and dug in. This was the best part of the entire trip! As I was walking back to my bedroom, still eating the chocolate, I rounded the corner of the pantry and bumped into The devil himself. Prince Max.

We both froze.

He had a bag of chocolate chips in one hand, and a couple chocolate chips in the other, ready to be popped into his mouth. He was also in in plaid pajamas.

He was the mirror image of exactly what I was doing.

For a minute we just stared.

Then we both had the same thought. We tried running away from each other , but failed. Instead we just ran into each other again.

"Look," he said, his voice muffled by chocolate chips in his mouth, "I won't tell if you won't."

"Deal." I nodded and ran away. He did the same.

When I made it to my room, I couldn't help but think that Prince Max was suddenly ten times more attractive.
