Grace's POV

Aah! It's my turn! I got up and walked to Prince Taigen, careful to not be too fast but not too slow. For some reason I didn't know how to walk normally and, of course, I tripped over nothing.

Great. Right before i hit the ground, Prince Lee swooped in and caught me by the arms.

"You alright?" He asked, smiling. My face was on fire. He was cute.

I could've heard a pin drop. I nodded, blushing.

"Thank you," I said, butterflies fluttering in my chest. He walked me over to Prince Taigen, and asked if I was alright again.

"Yes, thank you." I was so embarrassed. He walked back to his spot.

I faced Prince Taigen. He laughed.

"I'm honestly surprised that I haven't done that yet today. I tripped during a Report once though. Except for no one was there to catch me." We both laughed. He asked me some easy questions. He was very kind.

Next was Prince Max.

"Are you sure you're not hurt?" He asked. Man, are all boys this handsome?

"Yes I'm fine, just my pride." He laughed.

"You know, I doubt it would have actually hurt if you hit the ground." He said. There must have been a question in my eyes because he explained.

"You're not very far off the ground..."
Ah, this was a short joke. Yes, I was 17 and 5'1". You'd think Id get used to these jokes. I mean I had, but they still hurt.

"It was hardly a fall if you ask me." He said, smiling. I fired back,

"Your fall on the other hand, would make the earth shake. I'm surprised it doesn't shake when you walk." His smile faltered. I wasn't done.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Prince Obvious, but I'm afraid I must move on. But please, send me a telegram explaining the weather up there."
His annoyed expression pleased me.

"Do you know who you're talking to-"

"Oh, sorry, Goliath, I can't here you all the way up there. Do you think you could shout? But not too loud, I don't want spit raining down." I curtsied and practically skipped to Prince Lee.

"Nicely done," Lee said.

"Oh... You heard that...?" I was blushing again.

"Yes. You must get tired of that."

I sighed. "Of course I do. Luckily, 17 years of always being a shrimp gives me some experience when I need a good come back." Prince Lee was easy to talk to. We talked about many things. He was cute in personality and appearance. He would make a good older brother.
