"How far away are we?" Will asks, just as the train pulls to a stop.
"Like, 10 minutes," Nick says, leaning his head against the window.
All 10 of us-Jane, Hannah, Grace, May, Nick, Will, Sebastian, Aug, Brandon and I- are currently on the train to Nick's beach house. We've been on it for about an hour and a half, and it's really hot.
"I can't deal with this heat much longer," I say, fanning my face with y hand. I'm wearing a summer dress-the top a black singlet shape and the skirt part is white with colourful Aztec prints towards the bottom. I'm wearing a pair of black sandals, and my hair is tied into a bun.
"Oh Charlie, stop complaining," Aug says, and I glare at him.
About ten minutes later, we reach the stop and we all pile out of the train.
"What do we do now?" Sebastian asks, and Nick walks over to a bus stop.
"Five minute bus stop from here," he says, and we all wait under the shelter of the bus stop.
When the bus comes, we all pile on with our bags and continue the journey to Nick's house.
We get there in the next 15 minutes, having to walk from the bus stop to the beach house.
"I hope we never have to do that again," May says, barging into the house as soon as Nick opens the door.
"Okay, girls are taking the upstairs bedrooms, boys downstairs bedrooms. Boys are not to go into the girls' bedrooms," Nick says, giving Aug a pointed look. Aug smirks at him.
"Blah, blah, blah Nick, I just want to go to the beach!" May says, storming upstairs.
"Sorry about her, she gets frazzled in the heat," I say, picking my bag up and walking upstairs.
"Jane, you're sharing a room with me!" May says, and Jane groans.
Hannah and Grace come upstairs with me, and we put our bags in the room with three beds.
"Lets hurry and get ready, otherwise May will crack it," Hannah says, and we all get changed into our bathers.
"I said it before and I'll say it again; those bathers look stunning on you, Char," Hannah says, and I smile at her.
Hannah was wearing a pair of light yellow bathers, and they suit her perfectly. Grace, a mint green pair.
We walk back downstairs and get our beach stuff, then as a group we make our way back to the beach.
...
"WATER!" Will yells, dumping his towel and taking off his shirt, running to the waters edge.
The other boys follow suit, and we are left to set up camp. I roll my eyes, then spread out my towel and put my beach bag next to it. After I put on sunscreen (there's nothing healthy about a tan) I take off my throw on dress and make my way to the ocean.
I hear a wolf whistle, and look up to see Will grinning at me. It is a well-known fact that Will is gay, so I'm not too worried about his playful response to my bathers.
I put my feet in the water, and it's so cold I don't want to go any further.
"It's cold!" I shout, and Nick comes over to me, dripping with water.
I can't help it; I scan his body. He's wearing navy blue shorts, and his chest and abs are really toned.
"Princess, you have to come in," he says, and I shake my head.
