Beth's P.O.V
My breaths became quicker as the teacher read out my partner name. I could fell my stomach filling with butterflies. Stop. You can have an anxiety attack right now. I fake smiled at Mason as he took a seat next to me. I bit the inside of my mouth, trying to not let the tears fall down.
" Hello Beth!" He chirps, giving me a gorgeous smile.
Wow, his smile is beautiful. I could feel the butterfly feeling leave my stomach, still trying to cry.
" H-Hi," I choke, trying to smile.
" Are you okay?" He asks.
" Yeah, I'm fine," I reply, looking down at my book.
God, why do you have to be such a loser, like be cool for once.

I place my bag down on the floor and slide into the seat next to Joanna.
" Hey Bethaboo!" She chirps.
I chuckle weakly and pull out my lunch.
" You okay Beth?" She says, Turing her body to face me.
" I just had a anxiety attack and it was in front of Mason," I mumble, taking out my ham sandwich.
" It's okay," she says, side hugging me.
Raven comes running over to us and slide into her seat almost falling out of it.
" Are they gone?" She says, covering her face.
" Yeah," Jo says.
Raven takes her hands from her face and smiles at me.
" These fans are getting on my nerves!" Raven says, biting into her Apple.
Raven is in a heavy metal band and a few fans go here to our school.
" Just get a security guard. Duh!" I joke.
Raven gives me a side smile and chuckles.
I take out a stress tablet from my bag and take it. Raven gives me a sad smile and I just shake me head in a I don't want to all about it way.

My phone starts ringing so I pause my show and took at the caller I.D.
Mum
I answer it with no hesitation.
" Mum!" I scream into the phone.
" Calm Beth," Mum chuckles.
" Sorry, how is boot camp?!"
" It's good.." She trails off.
" Are you okay?" I ask.
" It's nothing sweetie. I just want to see how you are holding up at your new school!"
" Everything is great. I really, really miss you!"
" I miss you too, but there is no chance I am getting close to your father."
" Mum. You know that he-"
" Beth, nothing can make me change my mind."
I sigh. I really want them back together.
" I'm just calling to say that I won't be calling for about four months as I'm going into South Asia, there is a small war."
I could feel myself getting extremely nervous.
" Mum, please be safe. I can't, I can't lose you," I say.
" Honey, I'm have been reading seven months for this. I'll be okay."
" If you say so," I trail off.
" Goodbye darling."
" Bye mum, I miss you."
" I miss you too!"
The calls disconnects. I throw my phone across my bed and pull my knees to my chest. I rest my head on top. I don't want mum to die. Not today not ever.
