Ch.8
I covered my mouth trying not to laugh.He was already on the floor laughing his heart out.
"What happened in here?" Kihyun came in while holding few bags."Whats so funny?'' He asked pissed off.
I took few breaths trying to calm down."Sorry,he just told me joke that was really stupid"
"But funny" Minhyuk added.
"Yeah" I agreed and took his bags."Thanks" I carried them to the kitchen and put them on the counter.
"She's really funny" I heard them talking."I like her a lot"
"Yeah,whatever.You can go now"
"Let me just say bye" Minhyuk came to me and smiled."I had fun with you today.Can't wait to see you again" He said and hugged me.My eyes widened in suprise.
"Kihyun is kicking me out,I have to go" He whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine.
"He's dead"
"Its okay.See you!" He waved and walked out.
"Yoo Kihyun!" I yelled as soon as he closed the door.
"Why are you yelling?" He yelled back.
"Why did you kick him out?" I asked calmly.
"Well,I told him to stay with you so you would be safe.Now I'm here.There's no need for him to stay"
"You are so mean,he is your friend!Can't you be nice for once?"
"You can't tell me what to do,what to say and what to feel.This is my house,remember?And oh,5 more days left.I hope you find a place soon" He walked past me and bumped into my shoulder.I stared at the floor as my jaw clenched.I didn't know why I was sad.I knew I had to leave once.For the first time I felt like I had a home.While I was living with my parents,it was like a prison.
"Why are you standing there?" He took my hand and pushed me on the couch.
"Hey!" I yelled and smacked his head.I sat up and pouted."You're so mean"
"Aish" He rubbed his head.
"I wish I can be like him.He is so bright and cheerful'' I said thinking of Minhyuk.I loved people like him,they can always make your day.
"Whatever" He rolled his eyes.
"Can't we have a normal conversation for once?" I asked.
"Its better like this.I hate you,you hate me" He said and smirked.
"So,you hate me?" I asked and laughed.I don't know why those words hit me hard.Maybe he was right.Its better not to stand each other.
"I-"
"I'm going out" I stood up and put my shoes on.He took my hand stopping me.
"You can't go out,someone can see you" He whispered.I rolled my eyes and pushed him.
"I don't care anymore" I said coldly slammed the door.I closed my eyes feeling air again.I knew someone will see me at some point,but I didn't care.That would happen once anyways.I started walking away from his house slowly,enjoying the silence.
"Lee Na!" Someone yelled from behind.I rolled my eyes without looking back.
"I really hate you okay" He said and breathed heavily.I stopped walking and laughed at him.
"Why did you run?"
"Put this on" He gave me a wig and glasses.
"Why would I?" I asked confused.
"Hurry up!" He panicked.I quickly put the wig and glasses on.
"You look stupid" He commented.
"Where did you get this?" I asked curious.
"I had a feeling like this will happen,so I bought some wigs nd stuff.I hid them from you,I still have a pride you know.Make sure no one sees you and come home before 10" He said and turned around to walk.
"Thank you" I said,making him stop.He looked back at me and smiled.I quickly started walking away so he wouldn't see my red face.He has a beautiful smile,I gotta admit.
"Have you heard about that girl?" I heard few people talking when I was passing by a store.
"The one who ran away from her husband?" The other commented.
"Yes.How stupid you have to be to run away from a rich man?He would make all of your dreams come true!"
"You're right!"
"I agree!" They started laughing and saying how stupid my decision is.I fastened my steps hoping they won't notice me.
"That girl there is familiar" One of them said.
"I've seen her somewhere too" I lowered my head and bit my lip hard.
"Thats her!" They yelled.I started running away from them as fast as I could.I looked around and saw them running after me.My wig and glasses fell on the floor,revealing my face.I panicked as I saw Kihyun's house.If I just walk in,they will know where I live.I didn't know what to do,so I just kept running.I thought they will get tired of running and give up,but I was wrong.I noticed a big truck coming our way.I smirked as an idea came to me.I ran throught the street right before it.I turned around and saw it was blocking them to run across the street.I opened the door of Kihyun's house and walked in.I fell on my knees and breather heavily.I never ran like that in my life before.
