The Vault
After the morning rounds Jefferson and Regina got dressed. He took her hand and guided her towards the stairs. They both sat down on the same step and he took her hands into his.
"That was the best morning ever," he said with a laugh.
"Yeah."
"But I want to talk about something," he said in a serious tone and Regina's instantly turned anxious. "Yesterday I saw my father for the first time in over 30 years. And he likes you! But I agree on waiting for things to slow down for us to get married," he said, waiting for her reaction.
"You want to get married?" She asked, almost like expecting something else.
"Regina, of course. I love you with all my heart. And I plan on spending the rest of my life with you. I know that you said you can't have children but we will find a way 'Gina. You do want children don't you?" He asked, stroking her cheek and wiped away a tear that had fallen.
"Of course I do. I just...it's not possible Jefferson!" She explained as more tears fell.
"It's possible babe. We will find a way no matter what. Okay? I promise," he said and pulled her into the crook of his neck, rubbing her arm.
He planted a kiss on her hair and wrapped his arms around her. He picked her up by her arm and held her close as they exited the vault.

The Mansion: Earlier
Luca got off the comfortable couch and rubbed his eyes. He saw his wonderful granddaughter making some toast for two. "Good morning Grace," he said and stuck a piece of mint gum in his mouth.
"Morning grandpa. So what's your real name?" She asked handing him a plate of toast and orange slices.
"My name's Luca. So who exactly is Regina?" He asked.
"Oh Regina's not my birth mom, but she's essentially my real mom. My dad and Regina, they were friends and then they fell in love. All I know about my birth mother is that her name was Farah and that she's gone," she said, getting a little teary-eyed.
"I'm sorry about that Grace. You know your father when he was about ten his mother died of a disease. Her name was Helen. She was a beautiful lady," he said.
"I don't papa ever told me about her."
"It's probably because it's hard for him. He was reading her a story and she died right in front of his eyes."

Graveyard
Jefferson let go of Regina's hand and trailed off to find someone. Her brows furrowed and she followed after him. "Jefferson!" She shouted and ran after him. "Jefferson what are you doing?"
"She's not here. She's been gone too long," he said with a lump in her throat.
She put a hand on his shoulder. "Is this about Farah?" She asked with no jealousy.
