Hey look at this cute little bundle of.....crap. Greg's a bundle of pure crap. 💩

A Week Later: August's Apartment

August was making breakfast and then Emma trudged into the living space, groggily.  He smiled at her as she walked over, her eyes squinting due to her just waking up.  "Good morning sleepy head," he said and kissed her lightly on the lips.

She yawned loudly and stretched her muscles out.  "Sorry," she yawned and continued, "I was up all night.  I couldn't sleep hardly at all."

"It's because of Greg and Tamara isn't it.  I don't blame you, I certainly don't trust them," he said with a smirk.  "I'm making pancakes and sausage, with hot cocoa from Switzerland," he said and she glared at her slightly, walking closer.

"Swiss cocoa?  With cinnamon on top right?"

"Yes, I won't forget your cinnamon," he confirmed with a chuckle.

"I have to leave directly after breakfast.  I'm meeting up with Regina in her office to discuss those shady snakes," she explained.

"They probably are.  You're smart, you'll figure out a way to break them."

...

Later: The Office

Emma walked into Regina's office as the brunette was munching on a breakfasts bar.  The brunette looked up to see her friend and gave her a small smile.  "You just missed Tamara.  She came to me to talk about how great this town is and blah blah blah," Regina explained as Emma tensed up.

"Do you suspect anything from them?"

"Of course.  They're being kiss-ups about everything and smile too much.  And...I'm not sure if Neal notices, but the way Tamara was talking a bout Greg Mendall.  She talked about it him as if he was a king or a celebrity.  She said she made great friends with him, but I have reason to believe they're more than friends," she said with a huff and threw away the wrapper.

"Greg doesn't know, but when I was visiting him int the hospital to, you know, be mayor-ly and polite, and he was talking Tamara over the phone.  He said something about magic and a plan.  I acted like I had just entered the room and heard nothing and of course hearted all in pain and kind."

   "Hm.  Have you told Jefferson?"

"Yes, right before I left and he says he keep an open eye."
