In the deep of the moonlight and song of the night,
When the darkness cried out with not fear and not fright.
As the whispering wind swayed the rustling weeds,
The songs of the dark warm up the cold trees.
The calmness and ripples and rushes of water,
Not a beast crying out, so calm and no slaughter.
At last the peace sought at the end of the day,
Sun finally set and blue gone away.
A rising of wind gliding through the warm night,
A kindness, a calmness, no anger or spite.
A tip of a sphere just above the horizon.
Darkness has lifted as the sun has just risen.
A blanket of blue covers darkness of black,
Day has come again, wind whispering, ashen.
A face has been lifted to the warm sky,
for time shall for, and ever, fly by.
