Heroes Legion: Year One: Ep: 2: The Made-Men

Chapter 8: Aftermath

"You think I'm done with you?!" Gravitron said furiously, "you think you've beaten me?"

"Yeah" Shadow knight said flatly.

"Geeze, doesn't this creepy kid have a mute button?" added Stephanie walker who had nothing but contempt for the teenager that had just tried to kill her and the legion a moment ago.

"You can't beat someone who can control gravity!" Gravitron declared.

And then to the Heroes legion and Stephanie's surprise, Gravitron and the ground beneath him suddenly ripped free and lifted up into the air.

Still suspended in his miasmic cocoon bonds, with a chunk of ground attached to his feet as support Gravitron eyed the Heroes legion sinisterly.

"Aw come on, enough already!" Velocity groaned.

And then to everyone's surprise, they saw the dirt; the metal pieces and the clutter on the ground around them begin to float up towards Gravitron. Whose body was now glowing with bright purple energy: an increased gravity field!

But this wasn't like the others that Gravitron had created in the past; this one was directed to the area surrounding Gravitron himself.

And it was pulling in everything surrounding his area at arm's length.

The Heroes legion quickly backed away from Gravitron before they were pulled towards him as well.

As they did, the field surrounding Gravitron began drawing in more and more dust, debris and other objects.

Soon enough, some small, thing... began to form no bigger than a pencil tip. The presence of its conception was made known by a series of bright flashes that went off from it as the dust and debris that were pulled into the small object vanished into oblivion.

A strong breeze began to form, as even the air itself in the area began to be pulled into the object that Gravitron was creating.

The Heroes Legion planted their feet and grabbed onto nearby objects for support while they contemplated what Gravitron was doing.

"Guys....the readings cyber-29 is getting from Gravitron are getting more erratic and dangerous by the second. A micro gravity well is forming two inches from Gravitron, that's what that flashing is"

"A gravity well?" Silicon asked in horror, "he's creating a miniature black hole by compressing gravity in the area in front of him. Is he crazy?!"

"He's going to try and kill us with a black hole and you're wondering if he's crazy?" Velocity asked Silicon incredulously.

"No Silicon is right!" M-leader said with a look of horror on his face "this may be his superpower. But there are some powers that even some Metahumans shouldn't even attempt to use! If he finishes making that thing..."

M-leader then called out to Gravitron via telepathy, "Gravitron stop! The field you're creating, you don't know what you're going to do! You're creating something you can't possibly control! Gravity power or no gravity power, you're gonna kill us all!"

"Of course I'm going to kill you all!" Gravitron said, ignoring M-leaders warning completely "you're a rusty nail on the highway to success, and my future as King of New York, Gravitron: Lord of Gravity!"

And that's when it happened, the miniature black hole finished forming.

And the Event horizon took hold off Gravitron, and began to pull the deranged teenage supervillian in toward it!
