Heroes Legion: Year One: Ep: 2: The Made-Men

Chapter 3: Meta-Master's True Plan

THE CLUBHOUSE, HEROES LEGION MANSION: July 23rd, 2013, 5:30 Pm

The Heroes legion stood in the Chamber room of the clubhouse that housed the Heroes Links: one supercomputer waiting as silicon worked the mechanism of his creation.

He was using it to scan through the video footage that the Battle Falcon had recorded in order to find out just who were these wayward teens they were dealing with.

"It should be coming in any second..." Silicon assured, "hacking and retrieving information from city files and school files is Childs play for Heroes links: one compared to the work in progress City wide M-Gene scan"

Raven then came in with Murdoch in tow; Shadow knight eyed the young woman and her black cat with a white head streak.

"Thanks for bringing him" Shadow knight said, having asked the young witch to bring her cat downstairs with her.

"You're welcome, although I don't know why you asked me to bring him down here for" Raven said looking at shadow knight in question.

"You'll see, Rae" shadow knight said cryptically, using his nickname for Raven.

Murdoch lifted his head in question, what did shadow knight mean by that?

As if on cue, all five of the teens they had encountered showed up on the screen of Heroes Links: one.

"Boy don't they look like a lively bunch" Velocity said looking at the scowling school photos taken from a yearbook, and school students files "looks like were looking at prison photo's"

"I agree" Atlanta said looking at the photos concerned, "I don't like what I see in their eyes in their photos....callousness"

"Yeah..." Silicon said as he read the data, "according to this, they all attend school at Abraham Lincoln High school, that's where the Blast occurred. So they were in fact students. And it seems they all have a long history of assault, drug possession, dropping out of class, bullying other students...." Silicon then looked back up at the photos of the five teens, "These Made-Men are worse than I thought"

"Made-Men?" Velocity asked in disbelief, "really?"

"Well, what would you call them?" Silicon glared., "Meta-master did in a way make them...and something tells me he did it to make "redshirts" for his army, pawns...in this case, made-men"

"He chose THESE losers?" Velocity asked in disbelief, "why? They couldn't even hold up against us in a fight!"

"Simple....Because they had a shared blood type, with a benign blood anomaly found in their blood. Judging by these school medical reports, I guess this was how he figured that they might have been metahumans...the blood anomaly was the Meta-gene." M-leader said as he read the medical history that Heroes links: one had given him on a side monitor, "he must be trying some kind of Darwinism thing. He activates these "Made-Men", he waits to see who's the strongest or more willing of the group...and then exposes them to the M-50 Crystal, and make full Metahumans out of them"

"The "M-50 crystal", oh brother..." Velocity asked again, "do you guys just come up with these names for things or do they just come naturally?"

"These people were all hoodlums, bullies and drugged out dropouts. The worst elements of high school" Silicon said looking at the data that Heroes Links: One had given them.

"And if any of them win this "contest of power" with Meta-master, and evolves from "pawn" to "super-villain"..." Shadow knight stopped and thought to himself for a second, "Did Heroes Links: One find out what I wanted to know?"
