Chapter 3: Dreams eventually become Nightmares

Natsu POV

"Lucy!" Erza yelled as she catched her
"Someone get the master" She yelled
No one argued, Erza was terrifing.
"Natsu tell me everything you know" Erza said
I did as she asked after we put Lucy in the FairyTail infirmary. The master was extremely confused and he asked for me to explain even though I just explained it to Erza.

(a bit if explaining later)

"I then turned around and one of her spirits dissappeared I walked up to her and she collapsed in my arms and this all happened when the little Maggots dissappeared" I explained for the third time today and I was getting annoyed
Master Makarov nodded his head a couple of times in worry and I just stood there looking down at the old man wanting to know what's happening.
"Levy!" said the Master suddenly
"Hai!" (Yes) she answered
"Search up anythng you know about goblins and what kind of magic they use" he replied with a serious tone
"Natsu...you Erza and Gray will stay to watch over Lucy while I figure something out" he ordered
"Sure thing Gramps" I replied
"You can count on us Master" replied Erza also
And Gray nodded.
I sighed as soon as the Master left the room.
"What's wrong Natsu" Said Erza
"She was fine when she woke up this morning..." I replied
"Aye! and she was also fine when we were on the train with Natsu's motion sickness..." replied Happy also
"Well until Levy finds something we just have to wait" stated Gray

(a few hours later) 

I didn't want to wait, someone has done this to Lucy and they are going to pay. My stomach growled, I was hungry. Happy, Erza and Gray already left for the time being so I guess I should go too, so I walked out of the infirmary, giving a one last glace at Lucy, it made me sad just seeing her like this. when I walked out Erza was eating strawberry cake and Gray...hasn't got his clothes on, the pervert.
"Gray" I heard Erza say
"What?" he said annoyed
"Clothes..." she said bluntly while eating cake
"EH!" he yelled shocked and confused on why that happened
Happy was happily eating fish, but it looks like he has too much, maybe I should eat some I smirked.
"Ahhh...yum, fish"
He was about to eat it well that is until I stole it.
"huh....NATSU...gimme' gimme'"
Haha before he could grab it, I ate it.
"Natsu, you meany" he sniffled
"Oh come on, you already had three pieces" I answerd while sticking my tounge out

Someones??? POV (meanwhile with Lucy)

Lying down lifelessly on the hospital bed was the celstrail mage, her blond hair spread out near her sholders with no movement in them at all, her chest rising up and own as she breathed heavily in her sleep and the dreams that went on in her head...how sweet.

(in Lucy's dreams)

"Shhh, don't get caught by the guards" the girl whisperd
"Miss, is something wrong we heard screaming" Said one of the guards
"It's okay I just tripped but i'm not hurt, promise" the girl smiled
"Okay but if anything happens, notify us" they said while leaving the girl
She waited a few seconds and sighed
"You can come out now..." she said
"Ohh, that was close" he said with a surprised face
The girl stood there for a minute then reached for her pocket
"Here..." She smiled as she held out a couple of candies "I thought you might be hungry and I wanted to say thanks for playing with me" she smiled happily
The boy stood there and gave a mighty grin and accepted the treat
"Arigatou" (Thanks) as he was about to open one he paused and handed on to the girl
"You need one too" he said with a soft smile
The girl nodded and said
"Hai" (yes)

(The dream end)

"Let's darken those up...shall we" said the mysterious voice.
He mumbled a few words then a magic black dust drifted into Lucy's brain
"May your dreams, become nightmares" he smirked

No ones POV

After the mysterious man put mysterious dust into Lucy's brain she started to move in her sleep, the man just stood there waiting and her eyes began to flicker like she was trying to wake up but she couldn't
"It has started" the man exclaimed in an amused voice
Just as he was about to disappear Lucy yelled
"Mama!"

Natsu, POV (Sorry it was a short POV)

I was eating a cup of fire while talking to Elf-man then I heard, Lucy's voice, no one else seem to hear it but I certainly did. I quickly got up
"Natsu..." I hear Mirajane call out
But I ignored her and I walked through the door and I saw a shadowy figure disappear and that's when I saw Lucy...crying
"Lucy!" I said
But she was asleep, was she having a nightmare, I ran to her side not knowing what to do! she wouldn't wake up.
"Natsu!" I heard Erza's voice she was now beside me, Wendy eventually caught up, Gray too. 
"Please don't leave me" I heard her cry, she was trying to reach out for something, or someone. I suddenly grabbed onto her hugging her in my arms
"We won't leave you!" I said wanting her to stop
I noticed Wendy crying and Erza was calling out to the master.
"Lucy" Wendy cried
I was still holding Lucy, she whimpered in her sleep and she suddenly settled down, I was confused then I heard her mumble something, did I hear wrong?
"You're...warm" then she went silent
That's when the master came in with Erza walking beside him and I was still hugging Lucy. The master then nodded at Wendy who still had traces of tears and she nodded back, she then walked over to me and Lucy and that's when I finally let go. Wendy was using her sky magic and I think she was healing her...what good would that do? I suddenly heard Lucy give out a groan, she was waking up. Slowly I could see her big brown eyes opening, she took a quick glance around the room and looked up at me and Wendy.
"Lucy...you had us all worried" cried Wendy, Lucy was a little confused but she just gave a soft smile and Wendy wiped away her tears.
"Lucy..." Said Master Makarov
"Eh" she asked while sitting up strait
"What were you dreaming about..." He asked seriously
How does he know she was dreaming? I looked at Lucy and she was about to answer but she shook her head, not wanting to talk about it.
"Give her some time master..." Erza said worridly
"Ah Master" I said remembering what I saw when I walked in
"Yes Natsu?" he asked
"When I walked in, I saw a shadowy figure dissappearing...does that have anything to do with this?"
The master paused but immediately waved in Levy and she ran up to Lucy giving her a hug.
"Hi...Levy..." she said in a tired tone, while hugging back...even though she has been sleeping this whole time
"Tell them the situation" the Master nodded to Levy
"Well Lucy you were fighting goblins right" Levy asked while leaving the hug
Lucy nodded
"well, from the research I got. Goblins have to power to manipulate the mind and they also have a habit of causing chaos, were you exposed to anything?" Levy asked again
"Well...before I could give my next command to Taurus, about five or six goblins surrounded me and they clapped their hands...giving out some kind of dust and I have been feeling sleepy ever since..." Lucy replied
"Okay...but I don't understand, normally the effects wear off" Levy said looking at the master
The master looked like he was thinking up something, but i knew he wasn't going to tell us...yet...then he slowly left the room, back to the bar.
"Eh Lucy I don't think it's a good Idea for you to stand up" Said Erza who was half ordering her to lay back down
"Erza is right what if you collappse again" said Wendy in agreement
"Don't worry...Besides I'm hungry and I don't want you all to slave around for me all day" she said with a smile
She's not telling us something and it's gettng me worried. maybe it has something to do with her dream? 

(20 minutes later....spongebob)


Lucy was sitting next to me on the bar whilst eating something Mira set out for her. Me and everyone else were prepared to catch her if she fell, even Erza seem a little on edge. What's really worrying me is that dream she had...or was it a nightmare, she was calling out to someone, but who.
"Hey Lucy" I said while eating fire
"mmm" She answerd with food in her mouth
"What were you dreaming about" I now said looking at her in the eye
She froze but she soon swallowed and put down her fork softly.
"It's not that it was a dream...I was dreaming about my past" she said sadly
I froze...well we all kind of know about her past and how badly her father treated her beacause of money, do we?
"Has it got something to do with you're father?" I asked
"No actually it was before all of that...when my mother was alive"
Her mother?
"Well you are going to think it sounds silly but...I was dreaming about the happiest moment in my childhood" she kind of giggled
"Eh...thats not so bad" I said about to eat my fire
Then she started to speak again like she was going to explain
"Well...um there was this boy, I was playing by my self like I always did but I found this little boy hiding behind a bush in the garden..."
I was rather interested in the story now so I began to listen
"but I dreamed this part of the story two days ago...a little before the goblins but anyway he was crying because...um..."
"What?" I asked
"I can't remeber that part but I think it had something to do with his father...so I began to play with this boy and I have never had friends before so..." she giggled "It was fun...but..."
Lucy bent down her head and I think she was crying
"the dream turned into a nightmare...it was about my mum and how she died...and after that father was never the same..." said lucy who put her head on the counter
I patted her on the head and she looked up at me
"You're not alone now" I smiled
Lucy smiled back which made me happy
"They Liiiiiiiiiike eahcother" I heard Happy say who was behind me
"Don't role your tounge like that" I said irritated
Lucy laughed and that made me happy also.

(Well Guys I finally finished the third chapter WHOOP!!! I hope you guys are enjoying it so far because I enjoy writing it :) So what will happen next? will Lucy continue to have nightmares, will they go after the goblins or will the mysterious man come back O.O if you want to find out READ haha stay awesome)
