I open the door and my mum greets me, "why are you so late? You were due home half an hour ago! I've been worried sick!" Mum snapped.
"I, I'm sorry mum..." I burst out crying.
"What, what's wrong sweetie?" She questioned, sympathetically.
"The girl. The one who came by a few days ago, Katie. She got hit by car on the way to school yesterday. She is my only friend at Hashfield High. The other girls in my tutor hate me, they laugh at me. I hate it there, but without Katie it's awful, I don't want to go back. So, I'm late because after school, I went to the shop, spent my pocket money and bought a bouquet of flowers and took them to the hospital. She had her operation yesterday. I'm sorry mum." I whimpered, bursting out in tears again.
"I'm sorry Molly. I will come into school tomorrow and sort it out. Why don't you do your homework while I make tea and then we can watch your favourite tv show, dance moms!" Spoke mum softly.
"Sure." I said with half a smile.

I tossed and turned that night, worrying about Katie, thinking about how I was laughed at. How lonely I feel! I suddenly heard a ping and my phone lit up. A message came in from Katie! It said:
Hi Molly, it's Katie's mum, Linda. I'm texting on Katie's behalf because as you know she can't use her left arm.
She says: I hope you don't feel to lonely at school, and your ok. Hope your not lying awake thinking about school or about me! I will hopefully be out of hospital in 2 weeks. You can come and visit me soon? I love your flowers that you brought me, thanks! Text me after school tomorrow? See you soon, Katie& Linda xx
I checked my phone, read the message and instantly replied, it said:
Hi Katie/Linda, your welcome for the flowers, I'm glad you like them! Yes, can I come and visit you after school again? Is there anything you want me to bring you? I will be fine at school, I guess. Mum is going to go into school tomorrow and sort it out. Let's hope the girls get the message! Hope your better soon! Thanks for your support, good night. :) x
I pressed send and put my phone on charge, turned the light out and fell asleep. I didn't get another text since, this made me worry but I tried not to think about it.
