My mum drove Jamie and I to school, I got out the car feeling confident that the issue will be sorted today. I picked up my back pack from the seat and shut the car door. Jamie, ran off into the sea of children to find his friends as mum and I walk through the main entrance and into reception. We take a seat on red leather seats, we talk with Mr Smith and Mrs Riley, deputy head and head teacher. I feel on the spot, but I tell them everything! We talk for over an hour, I know this because the bell goes in between our conversation. The conversation is finally over and I head to my lesson. I missed tutor time, geography and the first 10 minutes of Chemistry. Chemistry classes are in tutor groups, and as I walk in the whole class stares at me and I feel like a tomato about to squash, I'm so embarrassed. I go to the front of the room and ask Mr Wright where I sit. I've only missed some of the lesson, it's the first chemistry lesson of the year so the class are just writing there names on their new blue books and sticking a few sheets in. So I get handed a book, and a sheet and I get told to sit at the table on the right. I go and sit down.

The day goes on and finally the bell goes. I immediately whip out my phone and text Katie:
Hi Katie, you didn't answer my message last night, can I come over? Is there anything I can bring you? Let me know, I will head there now. See you soon :) X
I get a response straight away. It says:
It's Linda again, no you can't come sorry. Bad news. Will let you know asap. I'm just talking to a doctor. Thanks for asking but it's ok we don't need anything. X
I suddenly feel sick. I feel hot, and sweaty. Nervous, worried, scared...
