Unreachable Love [Bad boy & the bad girl?]

Bad boy gone soft??

Devin was the last person I wanted to call, I mean whenever we were together it was always arguing or fighting. We have never had a normal conversation, but then again I feel like he is there for me.

It only rang twice when he answered.

"Hello this is Daniela who are you?" spoke a small voice, it was the most adorable voice I have ever heard. Im guessing that it was his little sister.

"Hi um....is Devin there?"

"Yes hold on..don't hang up" she yelled as I heard her get distant.

"Brotttheeeerrr your girlfriend is calling you" I heard her say as she got closer and I could hear her clearly.

Girlfriend? Really? Out of all the things I could be that's what I get.

"Hello?" I heard him say into the phone.

"Hey are you busy?"

"Kat?" I could hear the surprise in his voice. I wanted to start laughing but this really wasn't the moment for that.

"Yes its me you monkey butt, are you busy or not?" I said trying to sound serious.

"No im not"

"My place. Now."

I hung up not waiting for a response, I mean I know he's not going to say no to me.

I got home and unlocked the door, I assumed my parents were gone and I was right. They never stay more than a couple hours. My brother was out too. Which was great too, as much as I love my dearly twin brother. He can be annoying. I ran up to my room and changed into some shorts and a t shirt, I put my hair in a messy bun. I was hungry so I went downstairs into the kitchen and decided to make me some macaroni and cheese. Once I finished I heard a knock on the window. I looked out the window and saw a smiling Devin. I couldn't help but smile as I saw him there.

I opened the door and he stood there with a giant bouquet of flowers, they were colorful and smelled amazing. That was really a shocker. It caught me off guard that I didn't even know what to say. What was it with these boys and giving me flowers?

"So im worried...do you like them or not?" he said as he stared at me with a raised eyebrow. That was so attractive. Oh my....what is happening to me? Im becoming all lovey dovey and that is so not me.

"I love them" I said as I moved out of the way and he walked inside. I was still very amazed, that the smile on my face wasn't leaving.

He put them on the kitchen when I picked them up and took them up to my room and put them on the table by the bed. They were so cute. I don't know why it surprises me so much. Maybe its the fact that theyre from Devin. He never gives a lot of romantic thoughts to any girl.

I came back downstairs to find him eating a bowl of the macaroni and cheese I made.
