Me + You = Family (Part 1 of 3 )

It was early and i was exhausted, waking up every 3 hours to feel Kaleb and change his diaper. Devin kept his word and changed his diaper half the time. So he got more sleep than i did. I was still in bed trying to take a nap while Devin was holding Kaleb in his arms.

I heard him put him down onto the crib. Im guessing he fell asleep already. Then i didnt hear his footsteps anymore. When i was about to turn and look to see where he left to he jumped on me and yelled

"Mommyy wake up"

I couldnt help but laugh and push him to the side.

"Shush, the baby is gonna wake up" i whispered to him.

He just put his hands on either side of my head then leaned down and kissed me. I kissed him back then pulled back.

"This is how Kaleb was made, lets not give him another sibling" i said then pushed him to the side.

"Youre right, lets give him 100 more" he said then winked at me.

"Crazy" i said then got up to go to the restroom.

Once i came back Kole was in the room holding Kaleb and talking to him. Devin was asleep.

That was fast. I walked over to where Kole was standing with my baby.

"Hes so adorable" i said to him while he was talking about girls to my son.

"Yeah hes gonna be a looker" he said then made a silly face towards the baby.

Kole and me took Kaleb out onto the living room. I was hungry and my mom was there making us breakfast. I was so busy with the baby that i didnt get a chance to talk to her. I really missed her, and needed my mom. Its not like she was ever there in the first place. My parents thought that because they had lots of money and that would make up for them not being here.

It didnt.

Sure i didnt really have to worry about school or work now because i had more than enough money to raise my baby. I already had this house that me and my brother shared, but i dont want to live here for the rest of my life.

My mom yelled out that breakfast was ready, she wasnt going to eat so she was going to watch my son. I thought i wasnt going to have her in my life. My child wasnt going to have his grandma but im glad she changed her mind about that. I really was.

Devin came downstairs right as i was sitting down, he sat next to me and pecked my cheek then started to eat.

"So anything planned today?" my mom asked.

"Well i wanted to buy the baby some more clothes and stuff like that" i said and looked at Devin who had his mouth stuffed with bacon.

"Yeah we need a few more things" Devin said with his mouth still full.

I smacked his arm then kept eating my food.

Once we finished it was time to go out and buy the baby stuff. This would be our first family trip together i was really excited.

I got his diaper bag full of stuff. Even though it wasnt going to be too long i still want to be prepared for anything.

Devin took the carseat and put him in the car. I gave my brother a kiss and my mom too. Then i went and got into the car, Devin was already getting ready to leave and i was in the back holding Kaleb.

I didnt want him to fly off or something. Im not saying it was gonna happen but its a motherly instict on where i wanna protect him from everything.

Devin pulled into a 'babies r us'. I got kut and went for a cart while he grabbed Kaleb. We looked around and filled the cart with everything we could find.

We got more than enough clothes and extra things for him. We loaded up the trunk, which was stuffed and then headed home. Kaleb was hungry and luckily i made him a bottle from my breast milk before we left.

Once we got home we unloaded and then started to put things up.

Hours later......

"Babe wheres my brush?" i yelled to Devin who likes to move my stuff around.

"What am i supposed to know?" he said " i dont use it now do i?"

Before i could answer him he threw me on the bed and tried tickling me. I kicked him off of me then got on him and stuck the tongue out at him.

"Now you have me abandoned" he faked hurt and grabbed his heart.

"Aw now baby you know i love you" i said then went towards him and hugged him.

"Well i mean you should , i am sexy" he smirked at me.

How i hated but yet missed that stupid smirk of his.

Our life was surely something else. I was really amazed at how we ended up together. We went from enemies to lovers to parents.
