"Pussy" I yelled back.

Devin was by my side with a big smile on his face.

"Why are you smiling?'

"Babe, that was amazing" he said and started laughing.

My mom was on my right side with a frown on her face.

"Katherine you are pregnant then you attack our guests? Have you lost your mind?"

I looked at her and I was almost speechless "Are you really defending some random bitch and not your daughter? Yes im pregnant but im not going to let anyone disrespect me or my man. Got it?" I said and jumped off the table and went up to my room. I heard footsteps behind me so I assumed it was Devin. By the time I was in the room Devin, Tanner, Zack and my dad were following me inside.

"THAT WAS BADASS!!!!!!" They all yelled with the biggest smiles on their faces.

I just laughed and threw myself on the bed.

"I raised you well" my dad said while he sat next to me and patted my head.

"But, im also very disappointed. A baby Kat? Are you ready for that kind of commitment? And are you Devin ready to settle down and be a dad "

"Yes" we both said.

"I hope so but baby girl I will always be here just like I always have. Remember that ?" he said and gave me a hug then left the room.

He was right. He has always been the one to be on my side no matter how bad I was or how wrong I did he always stood up for me. I was a daddy's girl at heart but he was also my best friend. We talked about everything, he complained about my mom and how annoying she was and I would agree and we would just laugh about it each time we saw her. We were best friends and nobody could change that.

Devin left the room and so did the boys, I was left alone in the room and I decided to text Carl and NIcole because they never showed up. Leaving me alone at a time like this! Then I heard the knob turning. I looked up and saw my mom standing there.

"What?" I spat at her.

She sighed and walked inside my room.

"Katherine look im sorry ive been so hard on you I just want th-"

Look don't come and apologize because I know you don't give a rats ass If im okay or if im nervous or scared or anything. You were never there for me as a mother and I don't need you now. But I guarantee you I will NEVER do that to my kids, I wont abandon them like you did to us. I don't care if this is harsh or mean but its true. I am the way I am thanks to you. " I got up then pushed past her and went outside. Devin was on the floor talking with the boys while I was walking past him with tears threatening to come down my face.

"Babe you okay?" he asked and got up and followed me.

"I just need to be alone" I said and kept walking down the dark , lonely street. All I could hear were my footsteps and the smooth sound of the wind.

Once I saw it was really dark I decided to go back home, I turned around and crashed with a hard chest.

"Watch It Jerk" I said as I landed flat on my butt.

"My bad lil mama" he said so smoothly that I had to see who this was.

I looked up and saw this tall, very muscular, grey eyed boy.

He reached out a hand and I grabbed it.

"Thanks" I said and started to walk away. Then he stopped me and just stared at me. I pulled away and kept walking but a little faster this time.
