Unreachable Love [Bad boy & the bad girl?]

I am so confused...

Once those words left his lips I couldn't help but stare at him.

"Wait....Jake are you serious?" I had to make sure he was totally being honest and I mean I hope he wasn't high on some of that........never mind. I just wont say what I was thinking.

"Kat of course im serious ever since I met you I've been different, I feel like I have known you my whole life and I cant stand thinking of you with any other guy"

"Oh my god, I cant believe this is happening. Ha Yes I'll be your girlfriend" I grabbed him and pulled him closer, so I was now hugging him. I felt butterflies in my stomach and I was smiling. Something I hadn't done in a while.

Next thing I know there's clapping, as I turn around I see a woman, a beautiful woman if I say with the same blue eyes as Jake smiling and walking towards us.

"Oh Jakey she is way more beautiful than you said" she said as she came and gave me a bone crushing hug.

Literally, I think I heard something crack.

"Mom...I told you not to em-" he was cut off as she kept talking or should I say complimenting me.

"Oh you are so pretty nothing compared to those awful girls Jake has always been with.....Im glad he found you" she said as she gave me a smile and I could see her eyes filling with water.

"Oh don't cry please, thank you so much for welcoming me even though I don't look girly or anything formal I mean this is me and I am happy that Jake likes me for me" I said as I stood next to Jake and put our hands together. I looked up at him to see him smiling at me.

"Lets go before she traps us" he whispered into my ear and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay" I grabbed one last dinner roll then followed Jake outside.

As we got into the car we were in  a comfortable silence, I still cant believe I said yes to being his girlfriend I mean, I like him. But I don't want to get hurt or worse watch him get hurt. I wouldn't want him to feel that because he is such a sweet guy and he deserves the best. I don't know if im the best.

We pulled up to my drive way, Kole was home and so was another yellow Camaro , I didn't recognize it but I wasn't about to explode my brain over it.

"Come inside?" I asked before I opened the door.

"Do you want me to?"

"That's why I asked"

"Okay then"

We walked up to the door and once I unlocked it I heard yelling coming from the living room, I also heard shooting. I knew what they were doing, typical guys,

I led Jake up stairs and I opened the door to my room, he looked around and saw all the bears and flowers.

"Wow" he said as he walked around trying not to step on any of them.

JAKE POV

"Wow" was all I could say as I saw a lot of flowers and bears scattered all over the room.

I wouldn't say I was jealous but it bothered me that someone went through this much trouble for her.

She is a great girl, she just puts up a wall to hide away. And I wouldn't let any one hurt her.

"Yup" she said as she walked over to where I was standing and put her hands on my chest " This didn't mean anything close to that 1 flower you gave me".
