They took her smile away,
She said: "It's okay."
They took her light away,
She said: "It's okay."
She lied there numb,
Asking herself how could she be so dumb.
She lied there with a tearstained face,
The light gone from her eyes without a trace.
They said she was okay,
The depression will just go away,
Just give her time.
All they said was a lie.
Once they took her life away,
With the last breath she whispered:
"It's okay."
