tésseris ourá alepoús

Literally meaning four tailed fox in Greek, the tesseris oura alepous is a force to be reckoned with.

They are soft and gentle creatures when happy, excited and any positive emotion in general. Fast and light like the wind, with fur so soft it feels like velvet. However, it is said when one of these beautiful creatures are angered, they turn into a terrifying being like never before...

They stared into each others eyes for what seemed to be hours, but in reality was a mere few seconds.  But soon they both were drawn out of their fantasy, Iris feeling gentle tapping on her shoulder while Raiden having a strong force knock him over.

"Iris?"

"DUDE RAIDEN YOU FUC-"

"SHUT UP THEIR ARE KIDS HERE"

"SHIT SORRY"

"BLAKE!"

"...So who is this rowdy bunch?" Iris replied with a nervous smile on her face, glancing over to Kain, then observing the eight people again. Kain responded with a sheepish grin stretching across his lips, running his hand through his raven locks.

"Oh, only the uh... Top 8 in the entire academy." Kain muttered, forgetting that Iris doesn't have a clue to what that means. Because of this, Iris only answered with a confused look, and her once nervous smile altered into  an annoyed scowl. Once she turned back to look at them however, she noticed them all staring right back into her golden orbs.

"They're looking at me." She anxiously said, wiping off the non-existent dust off her baggy clothing. Her eyes kept darting over, not liking the silence one bit.

"Well then let's go over!" The violet eyed man next to her exclaimed, grabbing her forearm and dragging her along.

"W-wait!"Iris tried to strangled out in panic, feet digging into the dry dirt. But her efforts were futile, he was like a rhino that couldn't be stopped.

"Hey guys!! Meet the newbie!" He shouted, beaming at them. One arm manically waving, whilst the other had a death grip on Iris.

All eight pairs of eyes, colours ranging from all across the rainbow, widened. Few mouths opening and quickly muttering something Iris couldn't make out. To say she was nervous was an understatement, she was terrified. She's never been good with people, they always hated her, that's what she thought anyway.

The - now - very familiar sense of dread filled Iris once again. However, when she locked eyes with the same man earlier, all the angst she felt before left her instantly, and a warmth was left on her cheeks.

"She's hot!" A boy with amber eyes, and largely coiffed, brown hair claimed with a grin. The warmth on Iris' cheeks instantly grew hotter, and her eyes widening in surprise. 'Not something I hear everyday' The pink haired girl shyly thought.

"Oh my gosh Blake, stop flirting for once will you?" A girl exclaimed, with brown to blonde ombre hair in two long plaids running along her back, snapped to this 'Blake'. In response, he grinned wider, resulting the girl huffing, face reddening slightly.

Throughout the entire exchange, Iris couldn't stop looking at the guy from earlier. And it seemed he couldn't get his eyes off her either. He had such bright, beautiful eyes. A cerulean shade that complemented his pearl white hair nicely. He had pale skin with a sharp jawline, and he held many piercings in his ears. But what caught Iris off guard was the bright blue glow in his left temple, after seeing his long, slender finger tap it twice. She kept observing, watching everything he did and taking in his appearance. Again, it seemed the latter was doing the same, yet she never noticed. Instead, Kain noticed the exchange, and raised an eyebrow in response. But neither noticed, to caught up in their own world.

"So what's your name?" Blake asked with a flirtatious look, snapping Iris out of whatever trance she was in.

"I-Iris." She stuttered, lowering her head slightly and avoiding their eye contact.

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." The 17 year old answered, causing Iris face to become beet red. A new voice was suddenly added, surprising Iris since she forgot their was others here as well.

"What class is she in?" A monotone, yet husky voice said. Looking over, you noticed the white haired man from earlier finally said  something. 'His voice is soothing, so soothing' she thought.

"Zen." The black haired man next to her replied, also avoiding eye contact after a few gasps were heard.

"Was was her assessment score?" A blonde haired girl calmly asked, underneath a ginger haired child. She was beautiful, but Iris was far to busy to think about it, trying to figure what they were talking about.

"She hasn't had one yet." Kain answered grimly, his violet eyes flicking from one place to another, waiting for the protests.

"Is she really that powerful?" The ombre haired girl asked, shock coating her voice.

"That's hardly fair!" The blonde said, voice no where as calm as before.

"Hold on! What are you talking about?" Iris finally said, voice a lot more confident but also laced with confusion. But no one gave her an answer, annoying the pink haired girl for the Nth time today.

"Look, I can't answer any questions right now. I need to take her to the office now, don't want to keep the higher ups waiting any longer. See you guys later, c'mon Iris." Kain responded whilst spinning around and walking off in the opposite direction. Quickly, the said girl ran after him, trying to catch up to his quick steps whilst timidly waving to the others, her shyness quickly setting in once again.

Silence settled over them as the walked toward the huge building, an awkward atmosphere slowly building up as time went on. Observing her surroundings, she noticed a few kids around a fox-like creature, creating quite a commotion in noise. She started to get worried, wondering if she should mention it to Kain. But she knew nothing about this place, so she soon whipped the thought out her mind.

"Where are we going now?" Iris asked, trying to break the awkward tension.

"Principles office." He answered curtly.

"Why?" The golden eyed woman said, trying to get some type of answer.

"You'll know in a minute." He muttered. In response Iris groaned, angry that she's had little to none answers this entire day so far. As they finally entered the building, she noticed how clean it was, unlike her old school. The beige walls looked like they were freshly painted, and the white floors were so sterile, Iris could see her reflection. Another difference was that there was no lockers scattered across the wall, surprising Iris.

After walking past many classrooms, up a few stairs, and up a large, velvet staircase, they eventually made it to the door of the principles office, much to her displeasure. Kain nodded toward her, signalling Iris to knock. Gulping, she raised a small quivering hand, and gently tapped the large door. Almost instantly a gruff voice replied,

"Come in."
