It's been three weeks since the murder of my mom and brother. Since then I have moved into Gales house with his family. I am so grateful to them for taking me in, hazel was able to spilt Gales room in half for us. I still have nightmares, but Gales always there for me. There's something about being in his strong, warm arms that comforts me.

' I'm walking to my house as I go in the door I hear the screams of my mom and brother, I run up to my mothers room to find them lying lifeless on the floor. Their eyes open starring at me....'

I wake up screaming, and yelling mom and Nicks names. Gale comes running in and wraps his arms around me.

"Shh, Lilly it was just a bad dream. You're okay." He whispered softly, rubbing circles on my back soothingly.

"But it was so real" I choked out, burying my face into his chest, sobbing quietly. We stayed like that for a little bit longer until Rorey came in asking what was wrong. Gale put him back to bed, and came back to help me fall back to sleep. I lay my head back on his chest and take in his scent, which makes me relax, I fall asleep and have happy dreams about the future with Gale and I married with a family of our own.

In the morning, when I get up to go to school I see a note on the window that says ' Lilly is a Loser!' I run outside and rip it off tearing it into smithereens. I walk back inside and get dressed in jeans and Nicks sweatshirt and braid my hair. Gale, his brothers and I walk out of the house collecting Katniss and Prim on the way I put my hood back up and grab Gales hand, our fingers entwined. As I walk into the school yard I hear more insults coming my way. I hear one person say 'dead girl walking' and grip gales hand tighter.

"If you don't shut the fuck up, I'm going to come after you with my knife!"Katniss yells as she throws her hunting knife and it lands in tree right behind Willows head.

A teacher walks out and sees the knife and looks directly at Katniss and says" Really Everdeen, what's with you and knifes?"

Katniss looks down at her feet and walks over to the tree, punches willow in the face and grabs the knife.

"Sorry, Willow was being a bitch to Lilly again." She mutters to the teacher.

"Thanks for standing up for me Katniss" I said, smiling and hugging katniss.

"No problem," she replied "I'll always have your back... And so will my knives!" We laughed and walked into school together, Gale and Peeta by our sides. Cato ran off with some random chick, flirting as usual, and Finnick was running around shirtless showing off his abs O.o but no one was complaining. (Awkward, he's like my brother)

Biology flew by, and soon we were heading to english, which did not go by as fast. Willow spent the entire period glaring at us. If looks could kill, the entire classroom would be a nuclear battleground. At the end of class Willow walks up to Katniss and I,

" I want to fight you two, today after school behind the gym at 3:00."

Katniss and I look at each other and and nod, "Okay Willow, deal." And then we walk out of the room. "This should be easy" I said, earning laughter from katniss. "Right?" We laughed, heading off to our next class. The rest of school consisted of dirty looks from Willow and her friends (more like followers), but overall the day went by quickly. When the bell rang we all headed towards the back of the gym and saw a crowd gathered behind. Clearly they were there to see a fight, but where was Willow? We looked around, figuring she wouldn't show. It was no surprise really, considering how weak she was. Just as we thought she wasn't coming willow walks in with one tough looking girl and one of Willows friends.

"Oh crap.. Katniss are you sure we can handle that girl?" I asked cautiously. "She looks pretty... Strong." I say

"Come on Lilly we can take them!" Katniss says.
