Chapter 13

I flutter my eyes open and see the sad color grey wall. "I can see." I whisper. I step out of the
coffin which I was sleeping in. I look at my nails and see the dried cracked blood underneath the cells of dried skin. I take a shower and quickly sprint to Integra's office. "Lacie what are you doing by yourself, you'll hurt yourself. "He said Blackly. I turn to face him. "The purple vest I like that one."I reply to the butler.He narrows his eyes at me."You can see once again."He replies smiling lightly.I nod my head up and down lightly.

"Lacie...Lacie!"Yelled Integra who shook me.I shoot up and see nothing but darkness,nothing but pitch black."It was just a dream."I mutter."Are you alright?"She questions.I nod."We have new members I would like you to meet."She says.I nod and stand up wrapping Alucard's jacket tight against me."You really couldn't keep it quiet could you."She said angered.I blush madly."Oops."I stutter.She sighs.I left the room took a quick shower and wash my body.My body was stiff but not to stiff for it had been two days.I dress in a spare set of clothing and walk to Integra's office.I could hear the all to well Captain Pips voice.When I walk in I hear whistles and clapping."Everyone this is Lacie,our newest addition."Said Integra."A very one she is."Said a male who I presumed is the one who slaps my ass.I grab the mans throat."Don't do that again."I state stern.His teeth chatter."Aye,not bad for a Mon Chère.She human?"Asks another male."No pure vampire."Said Pip.

I wandered the library.Skimming a hand down each book.Becoming bored I sit and spin a dagger on the table.Alucard was thinking of ways to rid my blindness.The blood he generously said I should take wasn't working on a fast enough scale.I grab the book I was reading and flip to its page."No one except Bram Stoker knows much about the count."Said a thick voice."Walter how strong was Millennium?"I ask suddenly curious."Strong but weak when it came to strategy."He replied.A clink tapped the table."Earl Grey,with a hint of B positive."He said.I take a sip and smile."Very Bitter,but that's expected."I reply.He chuckles."Lacie?If I may ask but why act so much like a adult,even your childish ways have no signs of returning."He said hand over my own."I really don't know how to act as a seventeen year old.My father robbed me of my child hood."I state thick.The pause was interrupted by Seras."Walter,Master needs you."She said."Certainly."He said leaving the room.I stood from my chair and walk to the window.The warmth of the sun rises.I close my eyes and sleep.
