*DISCONTINUED* Can you hear me? [Sans x Reader]

When the three excited candy seekers reached the first door, they pounded on it and yelled "Trick-or-treat!" When it opened. Your neighbour was startled, but quickly smiled and gave them the candy the desired. They then ran off to the next apartment. You thanked the neighbour as you passed and apologized when the group nearly bowled over a pack of kids. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... You internally groaned. Well at least they were having fun.

After the first floor things shuffled around a little bit. Undyne, Papyrus and Frisk still led the pack, but the others started getting into the spirit of Halloween as they began to collect more candy and were right up there with them. Sans had finally been released from Undyne's grip, and was following behind the group quietly. You were swept up into the middle of things, and though you thought yourself too old to collect candy and hadn't in years, you started getting quite the pile. The monsters seemed to intend to hit every single apartment in the building. By the seventh floor, your pillowcase was almost stuffed completely full. Everyone else's bags were in a similar state (minus Sans, who didn't seem to want all that much). You were ready to call it a night, but the others were still going strong.

You started hanging at the back of the group, letting them continue their fun while you dragged your bag behind you. Eventually Sans fell in step with you, candy bag slung over his shoulder. "looking a little tired there, kitten." He said.

"Ha, I could say the same about you. Your bag isn't even half-full!"

"what can i say, i'm a monster of tastes. not just any candy will do."

You managed to snag his bag and started digging through it. "Yeah, marshmallows and Cheeto's, real tasteful."

He grinned and took his bag back, stealing yours as well in the process. "like your bag is any better! how are you gonna eat all this anyway? you're bone thin." He gestured to your painted leg and arm.

"Says the guys who doesn't even have a stomach."

"who said i didn't?"

You pulled your candy bag away from him as he tried to steal some of your ketchup chips. "Well do you?" You asked, trying to snag your stolen chip bags. He danced out of reach though and stuffed them into his bag and you huffed at him.

"maybe maybe not." He laughed. You smiled despite yourself, deciding you liked the sound of his laugh. Wait what? Your mind suddenly jumped in. Confusion started to creep into you as you thought about the decision. Luckily Sans provided a distraction. "so hey, i thought i should thank you again."

"For what?" You blinked, realizing the others were leaving you behind and speeding up your pace slightly.

"for the cd and inviting us. Pap hasn't stopped listening to that disk and you should have seen how excited he was. i almost had to tie him down- he want to come over at like, 10 this morning."

You laughed at the thought. "Well you're welcome. I'm glad you guys came- this would have been a really lame Halloween if I was alone.

"glad we offered a bone-ified distraction."

You laughed again and Papyrus began protesting. "SANS NO, I CAN HEAR YOU FROM HERE!"

"sorry Pap." Sans snickered. The others were all waiting for you at the emergency staircase, holding the door open as other trick-or-treaters passed through. You saw that Papyrus was now carrying Frisk's bag as well as his own, as her's had grown much too big to carry.

"Hey guys," You said, realizing that not much more candy would fit in anyone's bags and that only Papyrus and Undyne weren't struggling with the loads (Sans didn't count). Besides, it was starting to get late and you were some of the last trick-or-treaters out. "Why don't we head back up to my place and play garage band?"
