                             Brandon
I woke up to see two teens not much younger than me looking at me sleep. "Can I help you?" I asked looking at the boy that was obviously not the least bit afraid of me. I stood up realizing that the night before I had feel asleep in sweat pants with no shirt exposing my bruises to everyone. "What happened to you?" I thought back to what Lena said her kids names were. The boy was Jesus and the girl was Mariana "Jesus I was obviously hit by a truck!" I laughed he didn't know my name but I knew his. "Whatever man." Jesus just looked at me. Callie got up a few minutes later and we all walked to the kitchen. "Well nice to see you two finally decided to wake up." Lena joked. "You guys have coffee around here." I heard Callie ask. "Never mind." She saw me pointing at the coffee machine. She grabbed a mug then looked at me as if asking if I wanted a coffee without even using words I nodded my head. I really need the energy. She poured coffee in the two mugs and looked at me again asking if I wanted it with cream or sugar. I never even tried coffee with sugar before so I shook my head. Everyone watched us not understanding how we were communicating. "Thanks Callie." I said as she handed me a mug we stood next to each other feeling unwelcome at the table
Callie
"Ok Fosters lets get in the car!" I heard Mariana squeal. Everyone started walking out and me and Brandon shared a look we weren't Fosters. We just stood until Stef said, "That means all the Fosters." Brandon laughed, "Well we are foster kids but we're not Fosters." It was true my last name was still Jacob. "Fine, Adams, Fosters, Jacobs, and Brandon what's your last name again?" Stef brought him into the house and she didn't even know his last name. "His last name is Baker." I hissed. "Ok no matter the last name just come on." She said with anger in her voice. I started to walk and I felt someone pull me back, "Thank you." He looked down at me with a sad puppy dog look when he said that. "Come on Brandon lets go pick out a tree." She laughed.

"How about this one." Callie said picking up a twig mocking Mariana. "No that ones to small we need one that breaks through the freaking roof!" I tried my best to mock Jesus. "I have an idea!" I looked at Callie who was probably gonna be my only friend. "Is it gonna land us back in juvie." Callie teased. "Nah just follow me... Please." I tried my best to convince Callie. "Maybe..." She smiled "I'll take that as a yes." We snuck away from the family and into the store I grabbed a cart. "Hop in." My brilliant idea was just to run around the store pushing each other in a the cart. "Not happening Brandon." She looked at me like I was gonna hurt her. "Ok fine." I gave her a devilish smile and then I picked her up and put her over my shoulder. "Brandon put me down!" She laughed. "I told you I was gonna teach you how to live a little." I kept running until we got back out to the rest of the family I was still caring Callie. "Well we have a tree and we were just about to go looking for you two." Lena said laughing at the fact I had Callie swung over my shoulder. "We better get home and decorate." Stef pointed out. We all squished into the car an because there were only three seats in the back and four of us someone had to sit on someone's lap Jesus said he wasn't sitting on anyone's lap and Mariana didn't want to mess up her hair so Callie ended up sitting on my lap the moms didn't like that very much. But I didn't mind.
