Brandon
I am such an idiot. I made Callie hate me because she had hope for us. I went down stairs it was 9:00 and everyone was waiting for me at the table. "Nice of you to finally join us." Lena laughed. "I'm just gonna eat out side." I didn't even ask I commanded. "Oh no your not if I have to sit through this boring... I mean if we all have to sit here and in joy a family fun Christmas then so do you!" Jesus snarled. "Brandon you might be new here but every Christmas we sit at the table together." Stef said. "Yeah moms work really hard to make this a nice dinner." Mariana smiled. "Fine," I mumbled. "Good now go sit next to Callie." Lena pointed to the only empty seat. "I'll stand." I gave Callie an apologetic look. "Why?" I heard someone ask but I didn't really care who asked 'cause I wasn't answering. After dinner we watched some dumb Christmas movie that I was forced to suffer through. "Well it's time for bed babies. Callie, Brandon you two can't sleep down here on Christmas or you'll wake up when Santa come. So your going to sleep in the guest bedroom now your room from now on!" Lena sang happily. "We're sharing a room?" Just yesterday I would be happy to share a room with Callie. "Yup. You guys know where it is. Now go to sleep," Stef exclaimed. It was now 1:00 am. "So Callie you ok with us sharing a room?" I tried not to make eye contact with her. "What do you think you stupid ass whole?" She just looked at me and gave me the finger. "I'm sorry Callie I wasn't thinking I was just sick of hoping for stuff to happen when it never does." I felt tears start to build up. "Stop being so pathetic and turn off the damn lights!" Callie yelled. "Ok," I whispered. I slept on an air mattress because Callie slept on the bed. This was the first time I felt that the Fosters were a foster home not a real home.
Callie
I couldn't sleep knowing Brandon was right there probably still awake wanting to hurt me. I pretended to sleep but then I heard Brandon get up. "Where you going?" I didn't think he would answer. I looked up as he turned around to face me and then I noticed it wasn't Brandon. "I'm an old 'friend' of Brandon's. I can stay if you want me to... Babe." I felt a shiver go down my spine as he said that. "No just go away." I tried to sound tuff but I was scared he didn't look like a good guy. "Why? Don't you want to have some fun?" He sound really creepy. "Get away... From... Her." I heard Brandon trying to get up. "Wow Brandon you just never know when to quit do you? Now do I need to beet you again or should I just kill you?" I had no idea what I was doing but I grabbed the lamp and started beating the guy. "Callie stop! He'll just come after you!" Brandon screamed. "He threatened to kill you Brandon! KILL you!" I started to cry. "Come here Callie." Brandon opened his arms and hugged me. "What the hell is going on it's 2:00 in the morning?!" Stef yelled. "My old foster dad found me and he came and beat me." At that moment I realized how much damage he had done to Brandon. We already where bruised from juvie and now he was even worse. "We should take you to the ER." Stef said pulling him away from me. "No. I'm not going to a hospital you can call the cops tell them he came and they'll send an ambulance but I'm not going anywhere." Brandon pulled me back into a hug and he noticed me crying. "Callie I'm ok he didn't do anything that bad. He's gonna go to jail and he can't hurt either of us." Brandon wiped away my tears. "Brandon he wanted you to die! How is that not that bad how is him wanting your life ripped away from this planet not that bad! Your my brother now and he wanted to kill my brother! Not just some random guy that became another foster sibling my freaking brother!" I started to cry and he just held me tighter.
Brandon
The ambulance just left its now 5:00 in the morning they told me I had to put my arm in a sling for a little while but other than that I was fine. "Let's try and go back to bed ok?" Stef said tiredly. "Ok come on Callie let's go." I could tell she was shaken up by the events that had just taken place. When we got up stairs I went to the air mattress that I was sleeping on earlier. "Brandon can you sleep with me?" Callie said she sounded scared. I didn't say a word I just got on the bed and laid by Callie as she trebled in my arms. She was thinking back to her old foster homes. Some point in the night she started to squirm I'm guessing she was having a nightmare. All I did was pull her into a sweet hug and she calmed down.
