His POV

Damn! 

My face contorted with anger because I almost lost an investor. Good thing is that Mr. Lagdameo is a very patient man, he was not angered by my two-minute late appearance.

Yes, fucking two minutes! Big deal na iyon sa'kin dahil marami pa akong mga trabaho. To make it short and precise, my time is gold. Dapat walang sinasayang. Every bit of my time is important.

"Sir, Mr. Shaw is here. Would you like to see him right now?" My secretary asked on the other line of the intercom.

"Yes, Kyle." As you've heard lalaki ang secretary ko, I don't like hiring girls, because they won't be able to finish any work para lang magpapansin sa'kin. I hate incompetence lalo na ang mga babaeng pagpapapansin lang ang ginagawa instead of doing their fucking job!

The door of my office automatically opened at inilabas noon si Mr. Trei Shaw, he is selling me his property located in palawan. It's a beach house. Matagal ko na naman talagang plano ang ganoon, a gift for my future wife kung mahahanap ko na talaga siya.

"Good morning, Mr. Night." The old man greeted.

"Good morning too, sir. So, let's talk about your property?" Ani ko.

Niluwagan nito ang tie niya bago nagsalita. "Well son, Iyon sana ang sasabihin ko sa'yo, hindi ako sigurado kung maibebenta ko pa sa iyo ang property ko. Marami kami roong mga memorya ng matagal ko nang namahingang asawa. Natatakot akong baka gibain mo iyon at patayuan ng ibang beach house." Mr. Shaw said with sadness in his eyes.

Tumikhim ako. "Mr. Shaw, kung yan lang ikinababahala niyo 'wag kang mag-alala. Wala akong plano na gibain ang beach house ninyo. I want it to stay the same." His face lit up because of what I've said. "And soon, kami naman nang magiging asawa ko ang pupuno ng mga bagong memorya sa beach house mo."

Tumango-tango naman ang matanda at bumuntong hininga.

"Okay, I can trust you right, Mr. Night?" He asked.

"Yes, of course Mr. Shaw."

"Sige, ibebenta ko na sa iyo ang beach house ko. But promise me... Promise me that you will just bring your wife there together with your children."

Ngumiti ako sa matanda. "I promise, Mr. Shaw."

Ngumiti ang matanda at natapos ang deal namin nang matiwasay.

Finally, Nakuha ko na ang Beach house na gusto ko. I intend to keep my promise. Kung mahanap ko man ang mapapangasawa ko sa mga araw ma ito, aanakan ko siya kaagad at dadalhin sila sa Beach house na ipinangako ko.

Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo ko sa swivel chair ko. I wonder how it feels to be wrapped around your own wife, your own family.

Naglakad-lakad ako sa glass pane window ko at tumingin tingin sa ibaba. I can almost think about the other people that is not on my level. I can eat everyday, everytime but other people cannot, gusto ko ang mapapangasawa ko ay mapang-aruga, matulungin sa kapwa at mapagmahal.

I sighed. Unti-unti na akong bumalik sa upuan ko. Tamang tama na nakaupo na ako ng tumunog ang phone ko. I answered it immediately without looking at the caller's name.

"Stone." His voice is still cold as ever, but I know better.

"Kuya Kristoff, Bakit ka napatawag." I asked my half-brother.

"May problema si Krezhia, can you help her? I just called you because of this, pagkatapos nito at ibababa ko na ang tawag."

"Of course kuya, I'll help her. Ano ba ang problema niya?"

"I don't know. You go ask her. I'll drop this call now, Stone." Pinutol niya nga ang tawag pagkatapos noon.

Kuya Kristoff is still the same. The cold hearted man I knew. Yeah, I'm a cold person too, but I still have a heart, not like him. He doesn't have one.

Kristoff Waede is my half brother on the mother side. I'm their bastard, anak lang ako sa labas pero tinanggap parin nila ako. Pinag-aral at inalagaan. I'm an independent person, kahit kailan ay hindi ako kumapit at umasa sa iba. I do things on my own.

Napahilot na lamang ako sa sentido na biglang kumirot.

"Fucking headache." I cursed.

I called Kyle and asked for medicine.

"Kyle, get me some medicine for headache. Tell them that it is for Mr. Stone Eros Night, got that?"

"Of course, sir." He replied.

"Good."

This day is exhausting as hell! Hindi na ako makapag hintay pa na makauwi at magpahinga sa sarili kong kama.
