I heaved a sigh because of the noise that I was hearing. What a great thing to start my day with. I just woke up from my bed and here they are again, fighting some nonsense things.

I stared into the air and just ignored them. I have to fixed myself because I still have work to do and my brother, Blaze is waiting for me outside. I don't even know how he can handle the uproars of our parents, he is always eager to listen to their arguments so he could help them fix it. What a good son. No sarcasm intended.

After I got ready, I went downstairs. My older brother was waiting for me patiently at the door while crossing his arms over his chest. Nakiramdam naman ako sa paligid kung nag-aaway pa baa ng magagaling naming mga magulang, when I heard nothing, assume na tapos na sila umalis na.

"We're going to be late, Storm." Blaze seriously na ikina-irap ko naman ng bahagya.

"Chill, brother. Hindi naman tayo mapapagalitan kahit anong gawin natin. They know what our family can do." I said.

Kuya Groaned before turning his back at me. "Still, we have to be early. I don't care about what our family can do as long as I can get in class and continue my work."

I chuckled before following him.

"Whatever, brother."

When we arrived at school, people kept on staring at us while we walk with confidence. Kuya seems oblivious with it because he is busy with his phone while I was busy searching for Venus Camille.

"Blaze! Stormy!" Hindi naman kami tumigil noong biglang may tumawag sa'min galing sa likod. Ilang sandali pa ay nakasabay na siya sa paglalakad namin ni kuya kaya tinaasan ko siya ng kilay bago sitahin.

"You're late, Venille."

She just laughed at me. "Don't be like that, Stormy. Besides, late rin naman kayong dalawa ni, Blaze."

Hindi ko na siya pinansin but one thing caught my eye. It's her phone.

"Wait," Lumapit ako sakaniya at kinuha ang phone sa kamay niya. "Ganito rin 'yong phone na binili ni kuya last week. Don't tell me..." Binigyan ko sila ng mapanuring tingin.

Kuya just chuckled bago inagaw sa'kin ang phone ni Venille at ibinalik ito rito.

"Yes, sis. Ito nga 'yong phone. Late birthday gift para sa magandang bestfriend ko."

Seryoso ko lang silang tiningnan. I don't know pero nang mapatingin ako kay Venille, I saw the pain in her eyes when Blaze called him his bestfriend. Well, baka namamalikmata lang ako.

"Tsk, nevermind. I'll go ahead."

Hindi ko na pinansin ang mga tawag nila sa akin at nauna na sakanila. Since Venille and Kuya is going to graduate next week ako naman ay matitira susunod rin sa kanila after a year although accelerated ako ng ilang taon. Well, I'm just nineteen but I already have many hospitals persuading me to work for them. Hindi ko naman sila masisisi, I'm gifted.

Malapit na ako sa classroom ko when the bell rang. Mabuti nalang at wala pa si Miss Jarvis. Terror kasi eh sa hindi nakapag-asawa.

Umupo ako sa pinaka-likod katabin ng bintana. I hate being in the front, palagi lang kasi ako ang tinatawag ng guro namin para sagutin ang mga tanong niya. Like duh? There are other students, too.

I was feeling sleepy when the door of our room opened and the sounds of Miss Jarvis' heels echoed inside the room. She was wearing her casual dress with her pony-tailed hair and a pair of eye-glasses. Her lips were pursed and her brows knitted together as she entered. Doon ko lang napansin na may nakasunod pala sa kanyang isang babae, parang mas matanda lang siya ng kaunti sa'kin, her face looks so innocent like an angel... But then again, looks can be deceiving and I don't give a shit about some stranger like her.
