Jade's POV
last night I had a dream. I was walking on a pitch black hall way and suddenly up ahead I saw a mirror.
I went towards it. When I came at the front of it, it suddenly spoke.
"Have you ever wished to win a game? To win against someone you hate the most?" The mirror said.
"Yes. I have." I admit.
There was a silence for a little while and the mirror broke the silence.
"I can grant it, if you truly have the desire of winning against that person." It offered. "However, there will be a price." It gestured.
I thought about it and agreed to it. I asked it what was the price of this deal. Unfortunately, the mirror didn't answer.
When I woke up I felt the power flowing through my veins. It wasn't just a dream after all.
"I'm so gonna win against Amaya and have Sage all for myself."
Amaya's POV
After I had this commotion with Sage last night and earlier this morning, I'm totally exhausted.
"Why did Sage drastically changed from cool and awesome to dramatic and annoying? I nearly thought he was just a person who resembled him so much." I thought to myself.
Today, is Sunday, right? Yup, it is. I should really hurry because it looks like its about to rain. Like really hard, strong rain. The sky looked dark gray and I see everyone bringing an umbrella with them just in case. But unfortunately, I forgot to bring one. Its guaranteed that I will get soaked in rain water, later.
When I finally finished buying cloths for Sage, I immediately started to run.
*drip drip.
"Shoot, It's starting to rain." I say to myself.
The rain started to pour and puddles started to block the main road. I happened to stand by at my favorite book store, " Sr. Fernando the III's (the third) book store" . And somehow I bumped into Edward. He was wearing a navy-blue short and Grayish-white shirt with sleeves that reaches until his elbows. He was standing outside of the bookstore staring at the puddle the rain made while I was in the rain, soaked. He noticed me and gave me a sly smile. A smile which made me smile as well. I know this is bad because I feel sad for Sage because he just confessed to me last night and now I was doing something else. But my heart has only room for one, not two.
"Hi, Amaya. Enjoying your bath, I see." Edward says with a sly grin.
"Hahaha." I say sarcastically. "Anyway, Why are you in here? I thought you hated books." I wondered.
Edward grin. "Oh, you knew that about me. How flattering."
"Flattering? What's so flattering about knowing you hate books? Anyways, why are you here? You didn't answer that question yet." I say crossing my arms.
"I won't tell unless you tell me why are you're here." He insist.
"WHAT?! fine. I came to the market to buy Sage some cloths. Happy? Now tell why YOUR here?" I complaint.
"Yeah, sure. I came here to buy something to my future fiance. My mom arranged a marriage with someone I've never met before. But all I know is that she loves historical books like you." Edward managed.
"OK. Well, see ya at work tomorrow, Edward. I say starting to head back to my apartment. But suddenly Edward grabbed my arm and pulled me against his chest. I tried making an excuse to him, like that I might wet his shirt but he didn't care. He just hugged me from behind. Now I was getting cold. I wanted to go home.
