"Okay ... now that everyone is here, even our guests from the sand and sound village, we can start with the rules." began Tsunade.
"Alright? What?" came the voice of an impatient Kiba.
"I'm getting to it," she replied calmy, while actually trying to stop herself from yelling at Kiba.
"Alright, Kakashi. Add our students' points together and whoever's is higher, wins! Can you balance the 50-49?" Gai excitedly rubbed his hands together.
"Actually, I remember Naruto beat Neji in the chunin exams." said Kakashi, not even looking up from his book. "How about we call it even?"
Gai sighed. "50-50 it is. You have to still be glad this is not a contest of YOUTH, or else you already lost."
"Whatever,"
Tsunade cleared her throat. "Now that you two have settled that matter, can we begin?"
The crowd silence. "Granny sure is frustrated." commented Naruto.
"NARUTO-!" Naruto braced for the beating, but nothing happened.
Tsunade pulled back. "First rule, you may come up at anytime you want; there is no order in performances. Second, you cannot come on unless you signed up. Third, you come up and do a performance of your talents, with a maximum of 2 minutes. You can put on any props needed. Fourth, you may do anything as long it doesn't harass the audience or judges, verbally for physically, and no killing and/or injuring.
"If any of these rules are broken in any way, you are immediately disqualified." she finished.
"Blah blah blah let's get on with it!"
"I'm not finished. Each judge will rate your performance on a scale of 1-10. Your score is all four numbers added together. The one with the highest score wins. You have a minute to set up the stage for the performance."
"And the prize?" reminded Jiraiya.
"Um ... getting to that."
"It's ramen, right?" said ... well you know who.
"It's a secret."
"Aw, it's ramen, you just don't want to tell, do you?"
"Not quite,"
"OH YEAH IT'S RAMEN! RAMEN THAT WOULD BE YUMMY IN MY HUNGRY TUMMY!!
"Iruka-sensei, if I win, you'll take me out to a ramen buffet! Ramen for my hungry tummy!"
Iruka facepalmed.
"Naruto, did you not eat breakfast today?" inquired Sakura.
"I did, but it was only one cup! And it was a medium-sized one!"
Tsunade facepalmed, reminding herself that even if the boy can immature, he has the potential to be Hokage.
