The next day was Sunday, a perfect lazy day to go work on my art. The art studio was open anytime to the students and Joshua was the only one there. I walked down the hall to the door of the art studio and heard a boyish voice singing. I stopped in my tracks. Joshua?

I stepped closer to the door and he couldn't see me. His words became clearer as I got closer. I made out something about romantic fantasies and dying. Maybe he has a death kink. Oh dear. My dear sweet boy blue can't have a death kink.

I put my kinkshaming aside and stepped closer.

"We all know somebody who knows somebody who's doing great. I know some people who know people who are flying straight."

Whoa, holy fuck. The words in Josh's song were meaningful, and the cheerful way he sung it almost made it bittersweet.

I stepped closer, "But I'll kindly enter into rooms of depression," he sung a bit louder.

"While ceiling fans and idle h-"
Before he could utter another syllable, my feet stumbled over themselves and I tripped like an idiot right into Josh's line of sight.
"I-I'm sorry" I murmured before running down the hall and out the door to my car.

I drove to Johnny's apartment and let myself in. I found him laying on his couch. It appeared he hadn't done anything since he left my house yesterday. Good for him. I'd be a lot better off too if I just painted fruit baskets and minded my own business.

I stripped my shirt off and discarded my jeans and went to laying on the couch next to Johnny. He wouldn't mind me here. Johnny still hadn't woken up, and I was getting rather lonely so I traced circles on his bare chest until he woke up.

"Tyler, what are you doing here?"
He groggily asked me.

"I'm just lonely and sad" I said into his shoulder. He nuzzled me closer and kissed my hair. "And why is that?"

"Well, I went to the art studio and caught Josh singing but totally fucked it up when I tripped and he saw me watching him. He has such a good voice too."

Johnny sighed into my hair and went on, "Tyler, I'm sure you'll crack his shell one day, and I'm sure it'll be worth it. Josh seems like a great guy once you get him to open up to you."

"I guess you're right Johnny, you always are." I smiled and yawned before drifting off to dream land in Johnny's warm embrace.
