He rolls next to me after our giggle fit and places his head on my chest, his hand placed limply over his stomach. He looks up at my from my chest and whispers out quickly, "Don't leave." The urgency in his voice does something to my heart. "But I have to go. I can't spend forever here. Although I would if I could." He smiles at that and I resolve my lips to his.

I reach a hand up to his chest and draw circles with my fingers on it. It makes its way up to his neck with the deep red marks that I made. He moves his hand from his stomach up to his neck to meet my hand with his.

"I'll stay tonight. But there's one thing I've been meaning to ask" I pause and wait to work up the courage.

"Will you be my boyfriend, Josh?" He doesn't answer immediately so I keep talking, "It's just, we've been doing this kissing thing and I ju-" my sentence is cut off by a soft, "Yes."

He looks up and smiles at me, "I will be your boyfriend, Tyler." I smile big at him and go to sit up, his head now in my lap. I push his hair back with my hand and lean down to kiss him. It's kind of sideways and awkward but I don't mind. I don't think he does either. Soon enough, he's on top, kissing me passionately.

I've never seen this dominate side of Josh before. He copies what I did and moves to my neck. His teeth are biting gently on the skin and his soft lips are like tiny pillows on my neck. I moan quietly as he moves to my collar bones and I lift my hands behind his head. I slowly pull his head lower to my chest and he kisses the skin lazily. He makes it to my stomach. His hands are grasping both my thighs when he stops. "I don't think I'm ready, Tyler" he whispers.

My hands are still behind his head as I nod and say, "It's okay Josh. Don't feel like you have to do anything you don't want to. Now let's go to bed, okay?" He nods and crawls up to me, plopping down in the spot beside my body.

I scoot closer to him and rest my head on his chest. "Goodnight, Josh."

End of winter.
