:Chapter 3:

Alright. Aphmau keep yourself together. Today is the first day of school in a place you have only been in for one week. Stay. Calm.

That is what I keep telling myself as my alarm goes off. After it rings throughout my ears multiple times, I get up and get dressed. Since my phone tells me it is supposed to be warm today, I wear white jeans and a loose crop top. I wear one of my signature flower crowns, today a white one with leafs sewn on.

Lastly, I put on light makeup, consisting of thin eyeliner, mascara, a little blush and contouring and some nude-pink matte lipstick. I shove on some sandals and walk down the stairs.

As always, Zoey has breakfast ready for me. She seems happier than usual, which is a good thing I guess. She puts down one of my favorite breakfast dishes, cinnamon oatmeal with raspberries and blueberries on top, for me to devour.

When I finish up, I clean my dishes and am greeted by Levin and Malachi running down the stairs. Levin is wearing some khaki-like shorts and a blue top while Malachi is wearing a green tank top and some jeans.

"Well, don't you two look handsome" Zoey smiles while she sets down their cereal.

"Thanks Zo" says Malachi.

"Thank ya!" says Levin in his little voice. I notice the time and quickly pack my purple backpack and walk out the door to the bus stop.

"Bye guys!" I say, opening the door.

"BYE!" Zoey and Malachi say in unison while Levin waves.

I close the door and find the corner where a few people my age are standing. I stand toward the back, careful not to get noticed. I check my phone while listening to "Car Radio" by Twenty One Pilots. Whenever I am in a mood, I listen to that kinda song and now, I am legit sitting in silence.

I notice two people running down the hill, only to notice it is blue hair and that Laurance guy. They stop near the front, panting and sweating. Since I am dying of staying quiet, I walk up to them. People shoot me looks and I ignore them.

"Hey guys! Fancy seeing you here!" I say once they have calmed down.

"Oh! Hey I remember you... It's Aphmau, right?" says Laurance.

"Yup." I say. "Just out of curiosity, why is Dante here? I would guess he would get off the other stop in the neighborhood."

"I spent the night with him. Garroth left early to ride with his brothers." Dante says. I nod and we continue talking. I am secretly still listening to music, but has changed to "Polarize" now. I listen to them mumble when Laurance acknowledges me.

"Hey, are you listening to Polarize?" he asks. I look up and nod and he smiles. "I love TOP!!"

"Really? I love them! What is you favorite song?" I ask, as no one has ever been interested in them like I have.

"Probably Tear in my Heart. I reminds me of you actually." he smiles. No offense but I am totally not interested in him.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah, Yeah. Mine is House of Gold" I say. Just then, a car goes whizzing by about a block away, and stops right in front of us. It is a nice car, but I am not knowledgeable with them. Inside is a guy about a year younger than me with black, emo/scene hair and bright pastel blue eyes. Next to him is a girl version of him, but wears a purple hoodie (BTW- its Lillian). In the back is a girl with blue hair and gray clothing, a guy with a green sweatshirt and jeans and none other than Garroth.

They roll down the window, revealing everyone's faces.

"What are you dorks doing out here? Doesn't Cadenza have a car Laurance? Gene too?" Says the black haired-guy. "And what about you too." He smirks, looking at me.
