:Chapter 4:

I continue to ponder about the whole Irene thing but let it go for the time being. I finish up the class period with a smile as I have already met tons of new friends in science including Lucinda, Nicole, Travis and a more shy girl named Emmalyn. They tell me all about who to stay away from and stuff like that.

The bell rings as I say my goodbyes and head to my next class, art. I love art but am not particularly great at it. I stop by my locker and open it with ease, taking out my paintbrushes and colored pencils. I find the art room and enter into an open room covered in beautiful colors.

I see a table which actually includes Nicole from last period and decide to sit there.

"Hey! Long time no see!" She giggles. I laugh.

"Yeah. Is it okay if I sit here?" I ask.

"Yeah of course!!" She says as a girl with blue dyed hair rushes into the room.

"HEY KATELYN!!!" Nicole yells flailing her arms in the hair. She comes over and sits next to Nicole as we talk.

"Hey Nic. I haven't seen you in forever! And may I ask who this is?" She says, pointing toward me.

"Oh! Hi I'm Aphmau. I'm new in town." I speak up.

"Cool!" She says as a girl with orange and yellow hair sits next to me, followed by another girl with red hair and bright green eyes.

"Hey. Sorry we're late." Says the girl with red hair and green eyes. "Oh! You must be new! I'm Kiki! I aspire to be a zoologist!" She says. Kiki; nice name.

"Oh! I didn't even notice!! I'm Cadenza!" Says the other girl.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Aphmau. I think I've heard about you actually Cadenza; isn't your brother Laurance?" I ask.

"Yes actually. He is a butt but my father adopted him when we were kids... Whatever he isn't too bad at least." She laughs.

"Yep. He seems nice." I agree as class starts. We sketch for this class as we talk among ourselves. Apparently, Kiki has a brother who is a year older and Katelyn and Nicole are best friends and do karate together. I tell them about my brothers and stuff as they ooh and ahh and my photos of them on my phone.

Once again, the class bell rings and we are dismissed. The rest of the day goes by in a blur.

Next I had math with Dante, Travis and Katelyn. It was fun but difficult as I hate math with a passion. Next was magicks with a new friend names Kawaii~Chan, a fluent animation magicks user. The only thing that was bad was lunch.

Kawaii~chan was nice enough to draw a birds eye view of all of the tables and where I should consider sitting. I brought my lunch and decided to sit with the girls as I thought I already knew like all do them.

I stood corrected. I've I sat down, others piled in, including these girls who sat with me, giving me nasty glares. Once was a purple haired magicks user with cat ears, one had black hair and blue eyes and claimed she was a foutune teller and another was very gothic, creticing my looks and outfit.

Luckily, the neutral table saved me, which consisted of Katelyn, Nicole, Lucinda, Kiki, Kiki's Brother, Garroth, Dante, Travis, Garroth's Youngest Brother, Vlyad and Hailey; Lucinda's freshman cousin or something.

We all are and chatted as they told me who to avoid and who to sit with if this table gets taken up. They said after this, my best options are the bookies and magicks user's table and then the so called "travelers" table, as they come and go from the village all the time. They said that the Azura girl is nice as well as this Cloud guy, so I'm A okay.

My last class for the day is something about the Divine warriors; whatever that is. Garroth, Kawaii~Chan and another new guy like me named Aaron are in that class so I am not alone at least. Mr. Luke, the teacher, starts talking so we become silent.

"Hello class today we will be talking briefly on the history of Lady Irene, as she was the most famous healer in the land, traveling near and far for a long time." He says as I sit shocked. My mother was a healer, and she traveled all the time. What is Happening?
