  "ok...goodbye"

My last parting words to a good friend, my only friend in over five thousand years. I can't express how I feel, joy isn't enough to express how happy I am to return to Homeworld. I can finally leave the planet of my imprisonment and return to the one place where I belong, I can finally return home.

"Thank you Steven..." I whisper one final time as I fly through the infinite space. The colors around me, the stars shining with fiery brilliance as I fly by, I missed this magnificent view. The wonderful bluish hue of space intertwines with the shades of pink and white from distant galaxies, forming a canvas to catch the eye and spark the senses.

I could see it, Homeworlds galaxy, just within reach. My wings flap faster, a sense of urgency coursing through me, filling me with the determination to make it back to Homeworld. A large planet began to come into view, a smile playing on my face as I drew nearer and nearer to home. I would finally return home after countless of years.

That's when I truly saw it. I stopped mid flight to stare at what I only imagined was Homeworld. The once vibrant planet had become destroyed, with enormous craters around the surface of the planet. Gigantic crystal spires were visible around the  planet, with rays of light striking the ground at different intervals.

"This can't be..." I manage to whisper, "What happened to Homeworld?"
