I paced around the inside of my cell. I was incredibly worried, worried that I would punished for my actions by Blue Diamond. I was afraid that Blue Pearl would betray me and tell Blue Diamond of my plans.
The familiar sound of the door sliding open at the entrance to this prison made me stop in my tracks. Footsteps echoed off the walls; as if multiple gems were walking towards my cell.
"Lapis Lazuli I presume" a voice called to me. A tall blue gem stood at my cell door, their menacing purple eyes analyzing me.
"Who are you?" I questioned nervously.
"I am Spectrolite, Facet 8F7L, Cut 9XG" She explained, "I was informed by Blue Diamonds Pearl that you would like to send out a message, and that you are in need of my services."
"Why would I be in need of your services?" I spat back.
"Well, if you want to send out a message to one of your little, 'friends', then you are going to need the help of a Homeworld Technician" She explained.
I watched as she input a code into the outside wall of my cell. The energy door trapping me inside quickly began to dissipate before me. She stepped inside of my cell and pulled out a small diamond shaped device. The device began to flash blue light before rising into the air before us. The device seemingly began to unravel itself, transforming into a gigantic circular screen in the center of a horizontal diamond.
"W-What is this?" I stuttered out.
"It's a communication network, from here we can send out a message to anyone we know on Homeworld's Star Maps" She said while moving to face the screen, "just tell me where you want to send your message."
"I...I want to send a message to Earth" I informed her. I was incredibly nervous. I wasn't sure if I could trust her or not, but I had no other choice.
"I don't know why you want to send a message to that dead planet, but oh well" Spectrolite sighed. She began to draw peculiar images onto the screen before inputting a set of coordinates. The screen lit up before revealing a clear picture of planet Earth in its galaxy. The planet appeared incredibly peaceful, the complete opposite to Homeworld.
"Alright, it's set, just say what you need to say and it will send" She informed me, "but don't try anything, if you step out of line I will not hesitate to shatter you on the spot"
Her sudden change in demeanor unnerved me, but I had to focus on the task at hand. I had to send the message to Steven, I had to warn him.
