How long have I been here.
I lost track of time so long ago. I thought I was going to at least be treated fairly after speaking with Blue Diamond, but I was wrong. I still remember, the moment she had the chance, Yellow DIamond seized the opportunity to have me locked in a prison cell as a war prisoner.
I had nothing in my cell. Just me and the force field door that could destroy my physical form if I ever gained the courage to attempt an escape. I had nothing, so I simply sunk back into the darkest corner of my cell and waited. Waited for someone to come and set me free.
CLANG!
The sound of a metallic door opening at the opposite end of this infernal prison. I tried to ignore whatever noise might have come next, but I couldn't. There were two gems on the other side, and they were discussing a certain subject that I couldn't ignore if I tried. They were talking about the earth.
"So when I turned on the control room, there it was, a creature known as 'Steven'." the gem said in a shrill and insulted tone.
I gasped quietly in shock, I didn't want them to know that I was listening to their every word.
"So what did you do?" Another gem asked curiously.
"I was about to take care of the problem, when out of nowhere these gems show up and destroy everything" the gem explained, "They called themselves the 'Crystal Gems', and they destroyed all of my hard work!"
"So what is the reason that you had me bring you down to the prison?" the other questioned.
"Well, naturally I reported the incident to Yellow Diamond, and she wants me to go to, 'Earth,' on a special mission to check on the cluster, but also to check on the Crystal Gems, and more importantly that 'Steven' that interrupted my previous mission" she explained, "I insisted that I would need an escort that knew the planet well, so she assigned me one Jasper and said that I could use the prisoner that you have imprisoned down here."
"Well alright, but the Topaz that guards these cells left on an important mission, and they have the key to release the prisoners, we'll have to wait for their return."
The other gem mumbled a phrase under her breath before the two stalked off and closed the door behind them with a loud bang.
I couldn't believe it. That gem, she was looking for Steven and the others. I had to warn Steven, I had to tell him somehow. I needed someone to help me, someone to help me deliver a message. I needed, someone that I could actually trust on this planet. I needed a friend.
