"If I did, I'd be lying," I mumbled, moving my hand away from the other and revealing the gashes I had done just last night. "W-was this because of....us?" Harry asked. There was fear flushing his tone. "Yeah, actually it was. It was after you two h-hurt me." Zayn bit his lip, lightly running his fingertips over the wounds. "So, they're fresh?" Zayn then asked, pulling his hand away. "Yep."
Harry sighed and wrapped his arms around me, stroking my long blonde hair. "Please...don't ever do this...to yourself ever again," Harry begged, exhaling deeply. "I don't know," I whispered. "It's hard." Zayn shook his head and rubbed my shoulder. The fact he just tried to take my virginity while I was wasted pisses me off, but I can forgive him, right?
Wrong. "So, can we continue..?" Zayn asked, pushing Harry aside. "Really?" Harry pushed him back and gathered my clothes, tossing them towards me. "I'll take Zayn out and you get dressed," he said, grabbing Zayn by the shirt. I nodded at him and sighed once they had left. He really does just want to get in my pants. Why me?
I slipped my shirt over my head and quickly pulled up my shorts. How did I even think about this? I'm not falling for him. I swear I'm not. I quietly snuck out of the bedroom and voices trailed from what seemed to be the kitchen. I peeked over the doorway and the two stood, pushing. My heart beat quickened as Zayn was shoved into the counter. "Don't you dare touch her again," Harry hissed.
Zayn pushed him off. "She was wasted. She wouldn't remember what happened anyway if you wouldn't have barged in!" Zayn protested. Harry's face was turning red with anger as Zayn's held a smug smirk. Tears flooded over the brinks of my eyes at the thought of Zayn just using me for his own sexual pleasure. "First you take her first kiss from someone who actually wanted to do it, a.k.a me, and then you tried to take her virginity! That's sick, Zayn!" I nodded in agreement, hiding up to my nose behind the doorway.
Zayn shrugged his broad shoulders, causing Harry to lash out. He began beating his fists on the older boy, slamming them anywhere he could hit. Like the face, stomach, chest, etc. I gasped to myself, covering my mouth with my shaky hand. I never knew Harry was this....violent. I don't like it. Zayn started to hit back, hitting Harry straight in the jaw. Tears fell faster as they wrestled to the floor. "Stop!" I screamed, running in and pulling Harry off of Zayn.
"Stop it, both of you," I said, moving in between the standing boys. I had my hands on both of their chests and glanced between them. "You two are freaking ridiculous!" Harry glared at Zayn over my head and I punched his chest. "Can you not?" I asked him rudely. "Sorry," he mumbled under his breath. Zayn snickered only to have my hand connect to his cheek. "You too! You're the one that started everything!" I growled, shoving him away.
He clenched his fists tightly, looking down at me. "There's no way in hell that I would ever screw around with you." Zayn lifted his hand and lashed out. He slapped me across the cheek, grabbing my wrist and pulling me to him. "Zayn!" Harry exclaimed. Zayn's grip tightened on me as he smirked. "Didn't expect that, did you?" he asked.
I wriggled out of his reach and ran towards the door. It wouldn't budge under my shaky grasp. I was breathing heavily as my cheek continued to sting. That's going to be a bruise. "Elizabeth, wait!" Harry's deep voice called after me. The only reason I waited was so he could open the stupid door for me. And to take me home. I can't take it here with Zayn...or him. It's getting harder and harder to hate them. Well, it's pretty easy to hate Zayn right now.
Harry caught up with me and took my chin in his awfully large hand. "Damn.." I flinched as his fingertips grazed over the now throbbing area. "Ow," I said softly, moving his hand away from my face. "I am so sorry about him," he told me, gazing directly into my eyes. "I didn't think he would ever do that." His head dropped low, his curls hanging over his forehead.
"Harry," I began, lifting up his chin so he could look at me. Once he did, I did the unthinkable. I lightly pressed my lips against his, running a hand through his curly locks. He smiled into the kiss, moving his hands to my small waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck as my back hit the door. It's not hungry, it's pleasant. Sweet. Caring. Slow. It's Harry's way. I smiled as his lips pecked at my neck quickly.
"Elizabeth," he mumbled against my shoulder after he rested his head there. "Mhm?" I answered, playing with his lucious hair. We were still standing at the door wrapped in each other's arms. "I really do like you." My breath hitched at what he said. I can't believe it. Elizabeth, pull yourself together. You're not falling. He'll hurt you. Just take some time. "Harry.. I-" "I know," he said, looking up at me with bright emerald eyes.
"I know that you don't know. I know that you don't want to get hurt, but I promise on my life that I will not hurt you. I'll keep you safe from all harm, no matter what it takes. I care so much for you, Elizabeth. And I don't want to lose you," he told me, dropping to his knees. I've already teared up, but I nodded slowly, holding them back. "You won't, but let's just...stay friends. Please?" I asked, looking down at the kneeling boy. "Ok. Friends." He smiled and got to his feet, taking both of my hands in his.
"But friends can still...kiss, right?" I scrunched up my nose and then nodded. "Sure. Why not?" He smiled widely, lifting me off of the ground. I giggled quietly, holding onto him tightly. "Wee!" I squealed as we spun across the sitting area. He laughed and sat me down on the couch, kissing my nose lightly. "Harry?" I asked. He looked into my green eyes, biting his soft pink bottom lip. "Yes?"
"I really, really, really, really like you too," I told him with a big smile.
