CHAPTER 6: WOW

Me and pixie ran down to the ball room.It looked like a pride and prejudiced movie.It smelt amazing.It wasn't a disco,people danced in elegant lines.Werewolf's were taught some dances like this as a pup.When we finally got to the bottom of the stairs we were greeted by the boys.Luke was eyeing up every piece of meat that walked past in other words sluts.

"Enjoying yourself?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"You bet doll" he said walking after some skinny blonde.I rolled my eyes some people never change.It was a lie to say I didn't know Luke before.Luke and Dustin used to hang out as children ,he used to come over to our house a lot and steal stuff from my room - arrogant cock.He teased me and tickled me till I cried but most of Dustin's friends were like this - cheeky but I got on with them.I was Luke's sisters best friend,Hadley was a sweet quiet girl,we were bezies since birth.We didn't even lose contact when I moved-until a month ago.I can't wait to see her again.Dustin's best friend,the now Alpha was Jake.Jake was nice he always looked after me.He and Dustin would hit whoever hurt me or bullied me.Jake was like a second brother to me.I hadn't had time to see him again but.......I was suddenly interrupted by non other than cheese ball himself-Mike.

"May I have the honour of the next dance" he said with a smug smirk in his face.

"Erm,erm .... Well....you see ....",I was saved by Dustin sending a death glare into Mike."you promised your old brother a dance I believe",I quickly grinned.

"Yea I believe I did,sorry Mike",I said in a rush,walking to the floor with Dustin.

"Oh well next time",I heard him faintly in the distance not to pleased I had managed to wriggle free of the first dance.

I sighed,"thanks Dust"

"No problem,but your gonna be running all night.the fucker seems determined",he said with a grimace .

"Better hope I find my mate then",I said as the music started.

I giggled as I skipped around Dustin.It was a fast exhilarating dance.Dustin mirrored my huge grin.He was amazing at it.I wondered were he learnt to dance like this.I noticed a group of you could only really call them sluts,stood in the corner cooing at him and sending death glares at me.I felt like holding my hands up and telling them that I was his sister but I wouldn't give them the satisfaction.Dustin finally noticed them too.

"Looks like I'm getting lucky tonight" he said grinning.

"TMI,Dustin,TMI",I screeched in outrage.

I was cut off by the most amazing scent ever,I had smelt it for quite sometime now but it kept getting stronger and stronger.It smelt like flowers in the rain with a hint of woods and orange.I think I started to drool, hell no,not with all these people around.suppress the temptation Leah,suppress it.My wolf was leaping around.what crawled up her ass?.I thought to myself.I was quickly brought back to reality when I noticed people were stood around me for the next dance.I tried to move back to my friends but I couldn't,I was stuck between all these couples.

I watched as people danced around the dance floor.Ellie the pack slut had offered to dance a few times but I had declined the offers.I don't know what's up with me I'm usually messing around with some girl but somehow it didn't feel right.

All of a sudden the most alluring scent hit my nose.It was like vanilla pancakes and ice creamI looked up to the stairs and coming down was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.A girl a year maybe younger than me but she was gorgeous.her tousled ebony hair swarmed around her waist she had a pale complexion and full red lips.She could smell me too.She got to the bottom of the stairs and stood with the guys that I would be standing with right this moment if it wasn't for my father asking me to meet other packs.I was so thankful,she laughed and looked really social.This is a necessity of a Luna.

I saw mike approach her- OH HELL NO.She looked really uncomfortable.I was about to run over to her and save her when Dustin cut in and walked towards the floor.Mike looked devastated.I was to busy enjoying the rejected Mike that I hadn't noticed my beta dancing with MY MATE.She was giggling as her perfect body danced around HIM. Her face looked perfect with her wonky smile and her clear blue eyes full of joy.I would have ran over there and tore his head of if it wasn't what I saw in her eyes - love.

"No,I would hurt her",I told my wolf.I couldn't hurt her,I would just order her to never see him again once she knew.

"BUT SHE OURS" my wolf howled.

I was busy arguing with my wolf that I hadn't noticed the dance had ended.My mate was stood in the middle if the dance floor HIM-less.She had a cute expression on her face.Her nose was slightly scrunched up and her forehead slightly creased and the cutest little pout on those all so perfect lips.I swear I felt my pants tighten.It was the look of confusion.I noticed she was stuck.Her desperate stifles to try reach her friends failed.A grin crossed my face.In an instant I was in front of my beautiful mate.Her eyes met mine,they were perfect.Big blue eyes mixed with different emotions surprise,joy,lust,longing,hope and love.

The words fell out of my mouth earning more love than ever to cross my precious mates face.
