I ran into the house dripping with water to find pixie wasn't there. I went upstairs to have a shower.when I was finished I wrapped my favourite blue towel around myself,only to notice a note laying on the dressing table I sat down to read it.

After that I dried my black tangles of hair and put on some shorts and a tank top.(shorts after showers are the best combo ever).I applied some mascara and was ready to go.I grabbed my keys and locked the door on my out.I was debating on what pixie so wanted to tell me that I didn't notice when I walked straight into someone's chest.I looked up into a mans face,he had sandy blonde spiky hair and green eyes.He was fit but I wasn't that attracted to him.I imagined my mate to have big brown eyes and lush sleepy brown hair that I could sweep my finger through and........STOP IT LEAH,he's not real.

"I.....I'm sorry",I said slowly getting up.

"No need to apologise dear",he said grinning.Something about his smile gave me the shivers.Almost like phedo?.what a day to forget my rape alarm.

"I'm mike" he said offering his hand.

"Oh I'm Leah"I said reluctantly taking it.

"So your um Dustin's sister,right?"he said something about his voice sounded slightly resentful.Maybe I was hallucinating.

"Yeah"I said in return,trying to act bored.

"So where you heading this fine day",he said giving me a smirk.I cringed at the cheese in the sentence.Ooooooooooh I hate cheese.

"Um up to the pack house to meet pixie",I stammered,this is starting to sound like a really messed up version of little red riding hood.

"Oh then allow me to accompany you there,my dear",he said,again with the cheese Jesus,did this guy not know any good pick up lines?

"That won't be necessary", i said trying to shake him of,I know I seem mean but this guy really did not set of a good vibe.My brother told me to look out for vibes and I did not like his.

"I'm heading that way anyway",OH HELL NO!,I ain't letting no phedo take me away.I know he's like my age or something but he might still take me or even worse.... Sell me to some nasty old dude!!!.

"Ok" I said reluctantly, he ight not be a phedo and If he really was I would just have scream it's a small pack I'd probably be heard.

We talked about general things,mike seemed an ok guy (not a phedo),but he seemed to cling onto my every sentence.I wish he'd loosen up a bit.we however eventually got to the pack house.

"Ok,it was nice to meet you",I said in a rush.

"Until next time",he said,winked and walked away.

I scrunched my face up at the cheese.He wasn't even like Luke.As much as it pains me to say it Luke could be charming at times and I could eventually see Luke with a mate.She'd have to be pretty nieve but I could see it.Mike just tried to hard.I walked through to the dining room to where pixie was sat.I got a few curious looks but people got back on to what they were doing after a while.Pixie was sat there with a smile plastered on her face.I went to see what pixie was so damn smug about.

"You look rather smitten",I said raising my eyebrow.

"You look rather red",she counter attacked.

"We will talk about THAT later,tell me about your news first",I pleaded.

"Ok",she said, "get ready".

She then pulled out two white tickets to some sort of mates dance.

"We're going",she cried ,"I've finished your dress and everything". She squiled.

"Whoa,whoa yo did what?,you made me a dress?",I said clearly shocked.

"Yes and you'll love it",she said and then she fake frowned ,"you said that you would let me make you stuff so no objections missy!", She said waggling her finger.

I sighed ,I guess I did.I was just so shocked how she could make it in time,I guess it helped being a wolf and all.

"So tell me about the dance then", I said.

Her eyes lit up,"well it's a annual thing,and it brings us all together to find our mates, but the twist is its a masquerade dance so it's even more surprising and beautiful",she sighed looking all dreamy.

"Wait a what?,I don't have a mask,",I said.

"Don't worry Leah I sorted that out for you",she replied.

I pulled her into a hug,"were would I be without you?", I said,"your like the best friend ever pix".
