One bright morning Mello woke to the soud of a "purrrrr" on his chest,Mello giggled feeling the vibration of his furry friend."M-Mihael!"

Mihael seemed to smile at his drowsy Master wondering why not he was moving and making the noises that he did,the animal was innocent and didnt know any better the cat's furr was pleasantly soft from his brushings yesterday.

He was out playing with Matt around a mud puddle and just at those words earned himself a bath and a good brushing from his beloved,Mello.

Not exactly the thing a cat would want,but Mihael expected this to be Mello's behavior,the two knew much about eachother through an animal - ish sort of way.

Evan when Matt said he hated Mihael he just couldn't resist that pretty kitty face,Mello loved Mihael and Mihael loved Mello.

"Mihael,why are you staring out that window?"Matt asked rubbing the cat's head softly."Mello,is gone..at town,he won't be back before dark..."

Mihael ' s ears were pinned against his head just waiting for his "loyal" owner to return from his absence.

"C'mon cat,let's do some things I like da' do,first let's eat some..tato' chips!"Matt exclaimed with a bright smile only Matt could give.

The cats blue eyes turned quickly to Matt,and then back at the window,not wanting to part from his seat of the window in other words the Mihael thought that if he missed his owner he might forget about him,so he coninued till Matt dragged him to the kitchen with a grin.

"See this Kitty?"Matt held the potato chip to Mihael ' s rubery nose."this is men food!"

Mihael looked at it and evan sniffed at it,but it was no different to him than the ordinary stone you find outside in the dirt.

"Well,that's for starters..."Matt said eating the salty grease contained chip.

"Next we have the cigarette..."Matt held up one of his own."know that this man made wonder is both a contagious and addicting,but I'm sure everyone tries it one point in their life,Got that Cat?"Matt said sitting a lit cigarette in a small cup as Mihael backed away cautionsly not at all liking this one,infact it smelt worse than a dog without a bath and he thought catnip was more addicting.

"Listen now Mihael,this is very important to life standards..these video games will be us full later on in your nine lives...remember use your lives wisely,Mario only has three and he has made it this far!"Matt put the bright screen next to the freaked out Cat

Causing it's pupils to grow small reducing the light,as it pawed at Matt's game boredly.

"Boring is it!"Matt said rubbing Mihael ' s nose."Well then,I know what will be more of your thing,young kitty student."

Mihael looked at the Geek boy with narrowed eyes.

"I Introduce you to! Teen girl magazines!"Matt said proudly."I know,this is what you were waiting for!"

Mihael purred as Matt as picked him up showing him some pictures of girls in bikinis.

"Beautiful...Wow..like the size of two big basketballs...h-how.."Mihael noticed Matt drooling on the book and quickly padded away onto the top of the fridge out of Matt's reach.

"Oh,I see so you want to cook,that is a perfect Idea,Kitsy cat!"

Matt quickly grabbed out all his nesasary utensils for cooking.

"We shall make art!"Matt chimed.

Soon Mihael came hopping down from the fridge a low purr in his tone as he watched the brunette prepare for cake making.

The last time Matt tried to cook he lit everything on flames,which is why Mello now does the cooking,it's for the best honestly.

Matt dropped in some flower and eggs...and he pulled up a container of sugar about to drown his cake in it but Mihael quickly scratched his hand away.

"Whah? What was that for Mihael?"Matt looked at the feline curiosly.

This smart cat had watched Mello bake so much he didn't recognize this new item,Mello never put that in his cakes so Mihael knew it wasn't supposed to be in there.

"Soo,I taught you...now you want to teach me?"Matt looked into the feline's blue eyes as he stared back.

Mello walked into his apartment expecting a big hug and loud noises from Matt,or evan a purr and a stroke around the leg.But no none of that...

"Matt?where are you?,Mihael?"Mello said stepping into the living room to find his geek lover laying on the couch comfortably sleeping,chocolate all over his fingers,and Mihael laid over his lap as he opened one eye peering,as he motioned his head to the kitchen.

As Mello turned he saw a fresh baked and beautiful layered cake saying "Welcome back Mello" a warm smile peered over his lips.

"This looks excellent ,but how did Matt make this,its almost as if Mihael showed him how to cook decently " he smiled laughing to himself as of that night he ate a piece if the excellent cake and gave his lover a kiss they went to bed together,happily.

Mello and Mihael loved eachother so very much.

But this morning was different.

When Mello woke up...he didn't hear the purring of Mihael,not a sound

This caused Mello to worry.

He couldn't worry enough.

He looked over at Matt but no.

Matt was asleep curled in his sleeping bag.

What if Matt took Mihael? No...Matt wouldn't take Mihael from me...he just wouldn't..

Matt woke up when he heard quiet sobbs,he stretched all out with a yawn and began searching his and Mello's apartment for it.

"Mells?..is that you?"Matt said shakily his eyes filled with sudden fear as he crept down the stairs to the kitchen and there he made his way the the living room where he saw Mello crouched over his hands buried into his black gloves.

Matt scurried quietly behind him.wrapping his arms around Mello lovingly and comforting the crying teen.

The blonde hair looked up at Matt,his blue eyes a misty color from all of the crying,unable to talk.

"Mello?"Matt said warmly."What's the matter?"

Mello talked between uncontrollable sobbs."M-mihael..I-is..G-gone.."

"I'm so sorry,Mello.."Matt had sympathy for his crying lover as of being attached to Mihael as well."He was a fine for kitty cat..."

"Y-yes,M-matt..W-we..have to go find him..."Mello was drenched in his own tears of sorrow.

"Mihael loved me...and I loved him...he must have a reason " Mello sobbed.

"Mihael,is a wild cat,I found him in a box,he knows how life is out their..if he didn't like he would have came back,he wants to roam.

"I guess so..but do you think he is okay?"Mello said hugging Matt.

"He is happy,and you should be happy for him,Mello " Matt said comforting his buddy as he kissed Mello's cheek sweetly,as Mello soon calmed down the two sat for hours talking,kissing and hugging,still together.
