My mom watched as the soldier came down the final level of steps. Me and my brother tried not to breathe heavily as my mom stepped into the open, trying not to be scared.

"Well, well, look at we here" the soldier wiped away my mother's tears that had generated from fear, not sadness.

I tried to get a good angle in which to do it. The thought of killing someone didn't even seem human anymore. But then again, the world wasn't human anymore.

The soldier turned his back towards me to slam my mother against the wall, and then aim his silenced gun towards her head.

This was my moment.

I ran out, and stuck the knife into his hateful, disgusting back.

This was wrong, very wrong.

The soldier fell over and fresh blood trickled from his back and stained my old jeans.

I fell over as well; sobbing and angry at what my mother had made me do. I don't know how I saved up the courage to do it, I guess it was the thought of losing my mom.

My mom shushed and comforted me to the best of her ability. My brother ran over  and pointed at the man.

"Is he sleeping?" he asked.

I screamed. "NO DUMBO HES NOT SLEEPING I KILLED HIM. WITH MY OWN HANDS AND NOW HES DEAD."

My mom cupped her hands over my mouth. She told me to count to ten and breathe deeply.

I continued to breathe while my brother started whimpering.

When I was done, I walked over to the newly dead body.

The man looked around 40, growing out a full beard. He was muscular and buff, built heavily; soldier type. His name tag told that his name was Jake Harrison.

I collected from his belongings. He had a flashlight, a gun with a silencer, a heavy uniform, a notebook with illegible handwriting, and a symbol.

The symbol was made of metal. It had a double cross sticking out of an infinity sign.

The symbol was embedded on the uniform, it seemed to be important.

I flipped through the notebook again, looking for any eligible handwriting.

In the second to last page, 4 words I was able to make out.

I gasped and dropped the notebook.

Call Edward Watson tomor- the rest I couldn't read.

My father's name is Edward Watson.
My dead father's name is Edward Watson.
