I looked back at my mother and Andrew before I turned the knob. This could be life-changing, for all of us.
Mother was cradling him like a baby.
Oh brother, how much can she spoil him! I thought for a second. But in this world, the chance of being spoiled was slim to none.
I turned the door handle.
Slowly, the knob twisted around to about 45 degrees.

Ugh its locked! I kicked the door, knowing that all that would do was express my anger.

Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop. I didn't notice it until now, and now it was driving nuts.
I opened the door, this one easy to open flew out of my grip and slammed the wall behind it.
Mom glared at me and told me to be quiet.
The door revealed a disgusting and again never-ending line of sewage pipes. The water was about 1 ft deep, and birds flew around everywhere.
The tunnel was very dimly lit as well. I had to wait until my eyes adjusted to see closer detail of these tunnels.
Any other time, the tunnel would still be dark and murky, but this time there was a light.
A flashlight bobbled up and down, and the person seemed to be running.
Running towards me..
