Right now I am 23 weeks pregnant. Everything has been good with Matt and the babies and of course me. I have gone to see Will 2 other times, and he and I have both learned how to manage my diabetes in a way that helps us all. Soon enough, I would be unable to work and preparing myself for the birth of this child, which of course, I still hadn't planned out. Being a paramedic, I know the risks and different types, but I need to choose what's best for me. Whittier the natural way will be the best for me, or a home birth, if I really want to be crazy. I think I want to talk to Matt because he is going to be my rock throughout all of this. I want to start planning somethings out sooner rather than later. I think I'll do some more research and talk to Will before I decide anything.

"Ambulance 61, gunshot victim, 243 West Avenue"

"C'mon Gabby," Brett yells to me as I slowly jog towards the rig.

We get into the ambo, and begin to talk.

"So, Sylvie, how are things going with Sev?"

"Uhm, about that. Yeah I needed to talk to you."

"You guys didn't break up did you?"

"No, no, it's not that. I just, I haven't been feeling very good lately."

She didn't even need to say what I knew she was trying to for her to get the message across.

"Ok, we'll stop at the pharmacy on the way back. Did you tell Kelly yet?"

"No, I didn't want to get him excited. We've only been together for like a month and a half now, but now that we're living together... I don't even know where I'm going, but I don't want to alarm him if it's nothing."

"Yeah, I know. I felt the same way. It doesn't matter, we'll stop at CVS on our way back."

"Sounds good, ohh, this looks bad." She said groaningly as we pulled put he the scene.

As we got out, some police, including my brother briefed us quickly on what had happened. They told us that they've got our backs covered, and to be careful. I gave Antonio a short hug before we went to treat the victim.

About twenty minutes later we were ready for transport. We got to assist the shooter, who Voight shot, so we had Erin and Antonio in the back of the ambo, with me and Sylvie was driving. When we got to the hospital, we saw Dr. Mannings and handed the patient off to her.  I said goodbye to Tonio and Erin, and Sylvie and I headed to the drugstore to get some tests.

As we pulled up, we both knew that we had to make it quick, to avoid suspicion, so we ran inside. Brett grabbed about 5 tests and bought them at check-out. She headed into the bathroom.

***Sylvie POV***

This was the moment. I was nervous, but also excited to see the outcome of these tests. I opened up the boxes of the tests and sat them on the sink. I proceed to do what the instructions told me to do, and set the timer on my phone for 2 minutes. I went to the bathroom, and the timer was done. I picked one up and read the pregnancy test, with the results that I had so anxiously been awaiting.

Pregnant.

It said pregnant.

So many thoughts were going through my head at this point.

"Oh my god! Oh my! I'm gonna have a kid. What about Kelly? What if he doesn't want it?"

Inside my head I was freaking out. I looked back down at the sink, where all other 4 tests read pregnant too! I looked up at the mirror and I saw I was crying. A wave of emotions hit me and I knew I had to go talk to Gabby.

I walked out of the bathroom and Gabby rushed over, as fast as she could, to me.

"You're pregnant?" she asked me.

"How did you know?"

"You're crying, Sylvie! It's ok"

She gave me a hug and we walked back out to the ambulance where Chili was waiting. She was in the back so we just told her that I needed to go to the bathroom and went back to the firehouse.

"Are you going to tell Kelly?" Gabby asked me.

"Hell yeah! As soon as we get back o the house!"

"Ok, he'll be happy. He will."

We walked into the house and Gabby met up with Matt. I asked him where Kelly was and walked over to his office.

I knocked on the door.

"Hey Kells, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah what's up Sylvie."

"I have something important to tell you."

"Ok...?"

"I'll keep this short. I'm pregnant."

I suddenly wrapped me up into his arms. I picked me up and spun me around.

"This is amazing! I've never said anything about it, but I've always wanted kids. I love you Sylvie!"

"I love you too. When should we tell the house?"

"Well, we need to tell Chief like now, but do you want to wait a few weeks before we go public?"

"I think so. I want to wait six weeks maybe? I don't even know how far along I am. I'll set up an appointment with Gabby's doctor, Will?"

"Ok, we'll talk more about this at home, why don't we go tell chief now?"

"Ok."

The next few minutes of my life went surprisingly well. Everything went well with Boden and he agreed to keep it quiet. I told him I'd get checked out and we said that we would continue this talk later.

I met back up with Gabby.

"You're in for a hell of a ride. If you have a pregnancy anything like mine, you're not going to have fun your first trimester."

"You also have triplets."

"Haha. Mark my words Sylvie, you're going to be a wreck." she said jokingly to me.
