Chapter 5

"I think you should add the piano part in," Nathan asked.

I looked up from the phone I was studying lyrics on.

The piano part was not hard so, "Yeh, why not."

Nathan nipped next door to see if we could swap practice rooms since there wasn't a piano in this one.

I let my mind wander back to Hunter's face, it was just so perfect looking it hurt. It was the first time I had seen him so up close and he was probably so used to people thinking about him all the time.

I sighed, it was unfair how the best looking were normally the 'screw you and chuck you out afterwards'

Nathan came back in waving for me to follow. I got up and followed.

Elena and I grabbed lunch and sat outside again, the small breeze was calming, just the way I liked it.

Jake dumped his tray on the table.

"That was painful," He said, a pained look on his face.

I raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"A whole period with her." He let out a sob, "It nearly killed me."

I sighed, "What did you do?"

"Look I didn't mean to say it so loud, how was I supposed to know everyone was nosy fuckers?"

I laughed, "What did you blurt out?"

"About her shagging James Sims." He looked sheepish.

"Jake!" Elena gasped.

"I didn't mean too." He exclaimed.

"You shouldn't talk so loud," she said.

"It's not me, everyone in that class has got bloody supersonic hearing. Which you know makes sense since its physics."

I laughed but cut short when Elena smacked my arm.

"Where is she?"

"Sulking."

Elena sighed, "I will go find her and you can apologize nimwit."

"Okay, have fun." Jake smiled.

Elena didn't even bother answering.

"So we going out on Saturday to potentially die jumping over buildings." Jake asked.

Parkour. "Yeh, sounds fun."

Jake grinned, "Cool, cool, cool."

"Well I am the coolest."

Jake blanked his face, "No comment."

"Don't make me damage your face permenetally."

Jake leaned over the table and whispered in my face.

"That's if you can reach it."

I made a grab for him but he was too quick, darting off in the other direction.

I didn't care if I made a fool of myself chasing him, no one slagged my height, especially him.

I was sensitive okay.

He bolted over to the outside gymnastic equipment, which hopefully we will be using soon on the nicer days and I followed quickly.

We probably looked like fricking vampires the speed we were going.
