Chapter 3

I stepped out the boys changing room and saw Elena standing against a wall looking at her phone. She looked up and smiled, I slowly smiled back, feeling deflated after what happened.

As I walked towards her, her smile dropped and her eyebrows creased.

"Whats wrong?"

Damn, this girl frickin' reads minds I tell ya.

I put on the best smile i could and she frowned deeper.

I sighed and let my shoulders droop. "It's nothing"

She let it drop because she knew I would tell her when I'm ready, thats why I loved her so much, she understood me like no one else. Not just because she's a freak who can read minds.

She looped my arm with hers and we set off to music.

"You are going to have to duet with me on this amazing song, I can't wait for you to hear it."

I smiled at her, "Whats it called?"

"By your side by tenth avenue north, I think it really represents us," she smiled lovingly at me.

I ruffled her hair, I had no idea what I would do without her. "Can't wait to hear it"

"It's really a religious song but it reminds me of our friendship."

"What, you think I'm like Jesus?"

"No." She stuck out her tongue at me so I did the only reasonable thing in my mind... I grabbed it.

And it was all slimy, ew.

She screamed at me which sounded very weird since I had hold of her tongue.

I let it go and immediately took off. I ran down the corridors which were in the direction of the music wing, I smirked over my shoulder at her and she chased me.

"Wow, every straight boys wet dream, being chased by you." I shouted. The hallways were relatively empty since the school is so big and Elena and I are running but anybody who was there were giving us strange looks as we whizzed past them.

I turned the corner and straight ahead were the big wooden doors leading to the music room.

"Kai, you tongue abuser," She shouted at me.

I look over my shoulder with a horrified expression, "You dirty girl."

"I didn't mean it like that!" she shouted back.

"Mmhm, sure you didn't." I laughed.

"Oh boy are you in trouble." She said as I pushed the doors open but by the time I got them open Elena had caught up to me and we both stumbled through the door and she yelped when we lost balance.

We landed in a heap on the floor with her landing on top of me.

I groaned as my back slammed on the ground, "Get your fat ass off of me."

She pushed herself up so she was practically straddling me and gasped.

"I'm not fat!" She slapped my chest and got to her feet.

I grinned up at her as she glared with her hands on her hips, I blew her a kiss and mouthed 'I love you' to her.

She couldn't stop her grin and I put my hands behind my head and did a bridge then a back walkover in one fluid movement.

"Show off." Elena muttered and I grinned at her.

I opened my arms, "Sorry hug" I pouted cutely at her, no one could resist it.
