New Kid (Chapter 1)

Y/N POV

Today, your first class was history, which was probably the worst class ever. Your teacher Ms. Kachelmeyer -or Ms. K - took every chance she could to give the class a pop quiz, even though she only taught you half of what were on those tests. And today was one of those days.

"Alright class, pop quiz today! I hope you all studied" Ms.K says as the class arrives. Everyone groans in response.

Ms.K continued to hand out the tests, and everyone went to their seats.

~TIME SKIP AFTER TEST~

After everyone was finished and handed in their papers, you and your best friends Dean and Jayden Grey(-Dean and Jayden are brothers-) and Kylie Hawkins head to second period, math.

"We only have to go through the torture of one more class before lunch" Jayden states as he takes his math book out of his locker.

"Oh come on! You'll get through it, its only Mr.Green after all" you say giving him a pat on the back.

~TIME SKIP TO MATH~

"We have a new student!" Mr.Green announces to the class, as he gestures towards a pale boy with dark wavy black hair almost touching his shoulders, he was wearing black jeans and a black shirt with a grey faded skull in the middle. His eyes had dark bags under them and he was incredibly thin, so he looked both sleep and food deprived.

"Hi" the boy says without any emotion "i'm Nico di Angelo"

'HELLO NICO!" everyone said in sync.

You could see some of the girls gawking at him from the corner of your eye. I mean you had to admit he was pretty cute.

Mr.Green grimaced and then said "You can take a seat next to Ms.Y/n" while gesturing towards the empty seat next to me.

Nico is very still for a few seconds, just standing there gaping at you, until he shook his head, blushed, and continued over to the empty seat next to you.

NICO'S POV

I walked into the school where Chiron told me the new demigods would be , and continued into room 203A where all four of them would be by now.

When i walked in Mr.Green introduced me. "Hi" i said "i'm Nico di Angelo" everyone shouted "HELLO NICO" in sync which made Mr.Green flinch. "You can take a seat next to Ms.Y/n" he said while gesturing towards the corner of the room, the girl who must've been Y/n looked up, and all i could do was stare. Her h/c hair pulled up into a ponytail to show a beautiful pair of e/c eyes. After a few seconds i shook my head, feeling a slight blush on my cheeks, and continued to my seat.

"Hi, i'm Y/n" Y/n says as she sticks out her hand for me to shake. "Nico di Angelo" i say as i shake her hand "nice to meet you" "Likewise" she smiled

~TIME SKIP~

After math Mr.Green instructed Y/n to show me around the school, and then to the cafeteria. She obliged and we walked out of class.

Suddenly a guy with sandy blonde hair and brown eyes grabs Y/n's hand and she spins around confronting him, but seemed to relax once she saw who it was.

"Y/n where are you going? I thought you were walking to lunch with Jayden, Kylie and I" he says.

"I'm sorry Dean but Mr.Green says I have to show Nico around the school" she says glancing at me then back to Dean.

"But i'll meet you guys there" she says as she gives him a reassuring grin. "Alright" he sighs, then walks off to lunch.

"Who was that?" i ask, secretly hoping she won't say it's her boyfriend. 'You just met her stop thinking like that' I told myself.
