No Way Out!

*Aaliyah pov*

Tonight was the magical night. Its the night I've been waiting! Everybody's coming over tonight for our annual Family Night. Its about to go DOWN! There's me, my mom, Danielle, Big Dre, Mama Lo and her special guestm mom's special guest, Janae, Kv, Alexis, Ant and our newest amiga, Tyisha.

We met Tyisha 3 weeks ago at the game. She came to support Dre but was totally lost when he decided to disappear. Her and Kv knew each other already so he invited her along with us for the celebration dinner. We clicked INSTANTLY and me, her, and Alexis have been inseperable ever since. We're like the 3 musketeers, but cuter.

Tyisha is about 5'5. She averages around the same height as me and Alexis. She's black but she has really pretty hair and a very nice skin complexion. She is as hood as they come, though! She will fight any bitch, quick, fast and in a hurry. She doesnt hesitate to speak whats on her mind and she doesnt care what you have to say when she's done. We absolutely love her and she's a great friend.

By the time everyone got to the house, I was too ready. Did I mention winners get 40 dollars in cash and they get to pick whoever they want to be their servant for a whole 24 hours? Yes, the last part was all Janae.

"Aight fam! Thank y'all for showin up tonight!" We heard Big Dre yell into the mic in the living room.

Rules are, no one can see the teams until its time to perform. You put who you want on your team on a piece of paper and as you arrived, youre assigned to a room with your partner to practice your routine.

I was partnered with Tyisha! We got this dude! We practiced our routine and once we got ready, we walked in the living room and took our seats.

"Team One is ret to go y'all!" Dre announced over the mic. Slowly but surely, we saw our competition walking out of their designated rooms. This was definitely going to be good!

"Aight, first up is me and my teammate. Get up here girl." Dre reacheed his hand out to Danielle. She got up and they held hands. They began singing.

"You were cold as ice, baby, baby."

"Woo hoo hoo hoo." Danielle harmonized with him.

"I, i wasnt, I wasnt very nice I know, woo."

"Sugar, Sugar, Sugar."

"Then I kissed your lips and you turrned on my FIRE, baby." They finished up together and sealed it with a kiss. Woah! We gave them a round of applause, they sounded great together!

"Aight, lets give it up for the 2 thats gone take this money home," Dre yelled. Everybody clapped and got loud, not for them anymore, but because we KNEW it would be our teams who would take that money.

"Next up is Maria and Deontray Sr." Dre yelled into the mic. Everybody clapped and as I looked around the room, I froze at Kv. He tensed up real quick once he heard the name my mom was partnered with. As if he felt me staring, he looked up at me.

I mouthed, "You Okay?"

He nodded and smiled. If that wasnt the fakest smile i've ever seen, I dont know what is.

They got up and they started singing.

"Your touch is wonderful." He cracked.

"Your love is so marvelous." She tried to harmonize.

"Joy, thats what I feel when im with you, baby. Oh nothing."

"No one boy." She still tried to match his tone.

"Could coompare to what we have. Love! It feels so good and im so glad your mine!" They slowly ended together.

For a minute, everyone was scared to clap. The room was silent and we all looked at each other before deciding to applaud. Not for him or THEM, but for my mom and her attempt to keep up with him. I loved when she sings!

"Give it up for Chante and Shabba...I meant Kenny!" Dre said, making us all erupt into laughter. "Now, lets hear it for our next 2, the dynamic duo, and two-thirds of the 3 musketeers, Aaliyah and Tyisha!" Everybody clapped for us. We winked at each other and stood up. See, we had matching outfits too. EXTRA POINTS DUDE! He smiled at us and nodded for us to go. We did the damn thing!

"You couldnt even be Pippen, You couldnt even be trippin. You cant afford a vacation, im out in Haiti with Haitains. I go to Asia with Asians. You mad dusty, you a little dusty possum. I just come through with the six like my name was Blossom." Tyisha rapped, getting all into it.

"You get high, fuck a bunch of girls and then cry on tp of the world. I hope you have the time of your life, I hope I dont lose it tonight." I sang.

"The boys always spending all their money on love, the boys always spending all their money on love, the boys always spending all their money on love, the boys always spending all their money on love." We chorused, ending our song. Like did we get that or what? Everybody cheered and next was Mama Lo and her special guest, Michael. They sang Southside by Lloyd and Ashanti. They did it, too!

After them was Ant and Alexis. They sang Put It Down by Chris Brown and Brandy. They had a whole routine and everything. Aleexis loved that song so she had the choreography memorized with no help.

"Last but not least are Kv and Janae!" Dre announced loudly into the mic. We all died laughing. Did Kv really agree to perform with Janae for money? As much as he loved money, he was willing to give up 40 dollars?? They got up and they had matching outits as well, except she had on tights, a spray-painted shirt like his thats said "Cookie and King" in Red and Blue. They eve had the matching snapbacks with each one's name on their snapback. Then, they had the nerve to have matching J's.

"Im thinkin bout her every second, every hour. Do my singin in the shower, pickin petals offa flowers like, Do she love me? Do she love me not? I aint a player, I just crush a lot." He rapped and his voice sounded so smooth, it was damn near hypnotizing.

"You give me that kind of sumpin, Want it all the time need it eryday. On a scale of one to ten im at 100, neber get enough I cant stay away!" Jane sang her little heart out with a voice bigger than her!

Everybody's mouth dropped and when they finished, everybody cheered really loudly. Me? I was way too stunned. As much as i watch that little girl, I never knew she could sing. I was stuck between knowing I lost to Janae and Kv, and shocked behind her singing.

Everybody put their votes in and Dre tallied up the totals.

"Now the results are in. 3rd place goes to Aaliyah and Tyisha!" Wtf? Third? Oh come on now!!!

"2nd place goes to Danielle and myself but we tied with Mama Lo and Mr. Michael!" He yelled. We all clapped for them. Everyboy loves Mama Lo, we not too sure about this "Michael" guy but we do love her!

"1st place goes to Cookie and King!!" He yelled. None of us were surprised because they were freaking amazing!!They went and stood next to Dre. Kv took the mic and said, "We're so honored." He grabbed some tissue and fakely wiped a tear. Everybody laughed then Janae started acting like Kevin Hart at the 2013 BET awards! She started screaming, "Turn UP!" We laughed so hard. This child is a mess.

"Wll, now its time to pick your servants for the next 24 hours, beginning at noon, tomorrow." Dre said.

"Hmmm." They huddled together and started whispering. Then they screamed, " Break!"

"I choose Alexis." Janae spoke into the mic.

"Why me?" Alexis fell on the floor and started acting all dramatic. Janae just smile and winked at her.

"I choose Aaliyah." Kv spoke into the mic, catching me off guard.

"What now?" I asked.

" Yup, get ready. You lucky, girl, you."

I was officially scared. There's no telling what torterous events I was going to experience for 24 hours! There was no way out!! Wait...there just might be.
