Chapter Four

Once we finished packing up, we left as the sun was way high above us.I rode on the same horse as Alison, since we had lost some of our horses, Al and Hector managed to find there horses while I was passed out. unfortunately, my horse was long gone.I hold the horse's reins as Alison held onto me by wrapping her arms around me.

I smiled, "You alright?"I asked her.

"Uh huh..."Alison mumbled.

I chuckled, "Tired..?"

"Maybe...."She mumbled again and I looked at her.

"Ali, are you sure you're fine?"I asked her.

She nodded at first, but then shook her head.

"No.I don't know why, I just feel like we haven't gotten at least five minutes with just each other.."

I rubbed her hands in reassurance, "We will, don't worry sweetheart."

She nodded and smiled softly, her eyes glowing slightly.I turn back only to see Hector's horse in front of ours and I pulled the reins.

The horse stopped and I looked at Hector, "Hey, why the stop?"

Penelope shushed me as if I was loud, I didn't understand until I heard a monstrous snore.

I looked passed Hector an saw a huge, cave looking thing.It looked human, but was twice of our size.Hector looked back at us and motion to be quiet.He went first, moving his horse around it and made it through without waking it.Penelope went next, then Bella, then Al, and last us.

We were about to leave when Alison hissed at me, "I dropped it!!"

I looked at her, confused, "What?"I whispered

"I can't find my bag, I think I might have dropped it!"She hissed again.

I sighed and got off the horse.

"What are you doing?!"Alison whispered to me as I went back to the....thing.

"Looking, if he wakes up, leave!"I hissed at her as I looked for her bag.

I saw it laying right in front of it and grabbed it.I sighed to myself, not as loud though.I went back to the group, thinking I didn't wake it, only that was a horrid mistake.I heard a snap and looked down to see I stepped on a twig.

That's when I heard the snoring stop,I Hissed, "Ah SHIT!!"

I ran before the creature and yelled in anger.

"GO!!GO!!" waving my arms like an idiot.

I didn't had to say anything else, they're horses started bolting.I ran as fast as I could, I heard the trees rustles, crack, and I think some were even thrown!I caught up with Alison's horse and jump on it, taking the reins from her.

"Thanks Max, we really enjoyed being chase BY A GIANT!!!"Hector yelled at me.

"Shut up and ride!!"I yelled back at him.

I heard a tree cracked and what sound like something falling down close to us.

I realized what it was, "Everyone watch out!!"

As I said that, a tree landed right in front of us, thankfully the horses jumped over it.Another cracked and a tree ended up in front of the horse I was on, I pulled it closer to the middle.The giant roared and we felt the ground shake, It was coming after us!

"HyAH!"I yelled and smacked the horse, making it go faster.

I passed Bella and Al, then Hector and Penelope.
