As we neared the next town, Vinadad, we dropped off the horses at the stables. The group went inside the local pub here, while I went over to a garden the town lets visitors see.I sat down on a bench and sighed, had being in that cell change me?Am I dangerous as Hector said? Can me and Alison go back to the way things were?I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see it was Alison. She was slightly smiling, I couldn't help but to hug her from her waist and rest my head on her stomach.
She seemed to be caught off guard by that, "E-Everything alright Max?"
I looked up to her and sighed, "I just been thinking..."
She frowned and her eyebrows contracted, as if she was about to cry.She didn't, only to put her hands on my cheeks, rubbing them.I felt something wet go across my cheek, and I realized I was crying. That's probably why Alison looks like that, I hugged her and cried more.I didn't want to let her go, I just couldn't.
I felt her hand rub my back, "Hey, it's alright..Don't cry.."
I let out a sniffled, "How!?I'm a monster, and I hurt everyone I care..., "I stopped and looked at her, "even you.I hurt you so much, pushing you away from me was wrong."
She frowned more and kissed my forehead, " I know.I know it hurt me when you weren't around, but you're here now....With me, and there isn't anything else I want right now."
I shook my head, "It doesn't feel like it.It feels like I should still be in the cell."
She pulled up my chin and looked me straight in the eyes.
"Listen to me, You are not dangerous. You are the opposite of dangerous, and since when do you listen to Hector!?He has no room to talk! You are kind and brave and everything I love you for!"
I looked at her and she wiped a tear away from my eye, "You're.....you're right.I'm sorry again.."
She smiled softly at me, "It's okay, now let's go meet up with the others."
I nodded and we head inside the local pub called The four-leaf clover. It had an Irish style to the pub, the bar, chairs, bar stools, tables, etc. were all made of dark oak wood.Men were at some tables, drinking and laughing, women mistresses hanging by the wall, looking around to see if anyone wanna to get lucky tonight.I looked at Alison and she led me to where our group was sitting in the way back of the pub.
I can hear some people sing a song, yet I didn't know which song they were singing.I sat down next to Alison, and looked around the table.Penelope was looking down at her glass of water, as if she was in deep thought.Al was talking to Bella quietly about something I couldn't make out.Hector was looking worryingly at Penelope, like he was the one to make her think.Alison was, like me, looking around the table as well.
I grabbed her hand gently and she looked at me, giving me her sweet, sincere smile.I smiled back softly, she was so beautiful, I could never fall harder than I did with her.I admired her face, Her lips were a pale red as if they were roses in the winter, her eyes shining like an emerald in the sunlight, and her skin was fair yet pale like a fresh blanket of snow.I smiled more, knowing she was all mine, And I was all hers.
She let out a giggle, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I hadn't realized I was staring and let out a chuckle, "Just admiring you. That's all."
She smiled and nodded, I kissed her cheek, letting her know I love her so much.
She grinned and a waitress comes over to us, "Howdy folks! I'm Lola and can I get what ya anything?"She said brightly.
I smiled, "I'm fine for now ma'am."
Alison turned to her, "Is there an inn that we can stay at?we're tired from traveling."
